Frankly, the place was dirty. There was food on the floor and the whole place could have used a scrub-brush. The food was OK but nothing spectacular. We feel there are better places in Columbus for Fish and Chips.

Our family truly enjoyed Old Bag of Nails Fish and Chips. They do an excellent job on this entree. The food was hot and fresh. when served. The service was friendly and efficient. The space was clean. The space can be noisy when busy - which is was when we dined on a Friday evening. We were smart to arrive... More

If you love fried food, this is the place. Onion rings, mushrooms top notch. Pickles (spears) the best ever, rivaling Wapakoneta's Beer & Wine.

@e stopped here for dinner while visiting the area. While not amazing, it's not bad, although there were a few things that aren't what I look for in a restaurant. First, we waited quite some time to be acknowledged at all and shown a seat. The restaurant is very loud. The menu could have more to choose from too and... More

A group of us stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. 3 of us ordered the unlimited soup & salads. I had a Caesar salad and Clam Chowder. The clam chowder was very thick and hardy. The caesar salad wasn't bad either. I also had the French onion soup, it was a little salty but good. If I lived... More

Great character, a little worn around the edges. The fish and chips is the best in town. Beer selection is also pretty good. Lots of regular locals.

We agree that the Old Bag of Nails is a great place to eat. We stop in often and is very friendly. We have to the Worthington, Westerville, and Gahanna locations. All the same good food. They are very kid friendly!!! We go almost weekly and in the over four years we have maybe had to pay for my Son's... More

Whether you go there for lunch or dinner, you will not be disappointed. The food is great and reasonably priced. There can be a wait especially in the evening. Monday-Friday from 5-7pm is happy hour which means $2 off appetizers, domestic bottles, and import drafts which is a plus for the budget. If you love sea food this is the... More
