My family loves this place! The chefs are so funny and it makes a great night out with friends. The best hibachi in town!!

This is one restaurant worth visiting, our waitress Avery was awesome and took good care of us, the "chef" Benson, grilling right in front of us made this a great experience and the food was prepared well and very tasty. Well worth a repeat on...my next visit.More

I love going to sumo they have great food great service and great tricks at the habochi side there steak is the best thing the sushi is good too

This happens to be my daughter’s top restaurant to visit for Asian food when she’s in Edmond, so of course she’ll take me along. Their hibachi is fine, not remotely outstanding, but their sushi is excellent. They have a special where you can buy one...sushi platter and get the second half off, but this only applies to anything listed under “Special Rolls”. You’ll find that list when you first walk into the establishment or on the menu. My favorite sushi is the spicy cowboy. The shrimp has the right crunch and the spicy mayo the perfect flare. Whether you’re having hibachi or sushi, the service is top notch as well.More

Worst service and food ever! If I could rate this place a zero I would! They couldn’t keep the orders at the table straight, slow service, and attitudes just to name a few reasons NOT to go

I have ate here many times, love the food and great service. Not so much today. We went at a off time and were the only table there. Yet the service was horrid we felt as if we were in the way from the moment...we were seated. Ordered a candy cane roll without bacon it was served with bacon and discolored off tasting tuna. Ordered a chirashi no mackerel or whitetail, it was served with mackerel and lettuce blocking the rice. Ordered sweet tea and it was liquid sugar. Also ordered some single sashimi and the octopus was cut up into tiny peices. When asked the server stated that's how they always serve sashimi octopus, I have had it there before as a slice, as a matter of fact I have had octopus from Hawaii to Florida and have never seen it cut into tiny chunks except in salad. I'm very disappointed in a restaurant that has been a go to place for us for yearsMore

This is our favorite go-to Japanese Steakhouse in the Oklahoma City area. The food is awesome, the hibachi chefs such fun and entertaining, and the atmosphere very friendly. We have teenage grandsons so this is a place they can get their fill and we are...happy.More

We love Sumo. We are called by our first names when we walk in. It's our little Cheers. We love to sit at the sushi bar and just relax and eat great sushi! Thanks you all. We love ya.

Went there with friends to have a nice relaxing time. Food was amazing, service excellent. The veggie, cucumber and tempura rolls was delice. Had the steak and shrimp hibachi ....way too much food. Josh our server was on attentive and so polite( my drink was...never empty)...our cook jack ... omg.... so funny .... made my night....kept saying ..”butter is good”....hilarious!!!! The restaurant has a nice ambiance. My wife's sushi was good and my chicken dish as well. For a moment I thought that they allowed smoking because I detected cigarette smoke. They don't allow smoking, so I cannot explain where the odor came from. The...management might want to look into this.More

I visited during a slow period so I had a private chef! He was awesome and the most talented I've ever experienced. I had steak and salmon. Meals come with soup and salad. The food was cooked perfectly and the amount of food was HUGE!...Literally, I had enough leftovers for two lunches.More
