I have always had a great time at Tokyo. The staff is friendly and extremely competent. The food is fantastic. I have never had a bad time Tokyo.
My latest visit and it's so good to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine. I've been to a lot of sushi places and many of them do a good job but if you want authentic you have to eat at Tokyo. There's a wide variety of appetizers and entrees if you're not a sushi person and everything is first rate. Nobody does... More
Had nigiri sushi. Set and A La Carte. Not all fish were fresh, and had a fishy smell. The AM-AEBI had a dated smell and taste. Popular items like tuna and most white fish seemed fresh enough; however there were one or two that seemed to miss expiry date. The expensive or less popular items are had to keep fresh,... More
I am a loyal customer to Tokyo, and I have nothing to complain about. Food is amazing, service is fast and friendly, its a little pricey, but worth it.
Tokyo Japanese Restaurant has been a staple in Oklahoma City for over 20 years. I know this because I'm 21 and have been going here since I was born! Not only is their sushi always fresh and their rice perfectly sushi-sticky, but their lunch boxes are, simply put, out of this world! Perhaps one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants,... More
I went to Tokyo to celebrate the birthday of a very special friend. Tokyo is our favorite restaurant. We are both very particular about sushi. It must be the freshest and prepared in the Japanese traditional way. I know about this after marrying into a Japanese family twenty-some Years ago. Dinner was awesome. Edamame perfect. Soup perfect. Octopus was so... More
Based on recommendations from SEVERAL people, we finally found a chance to stop by Tokyo. We have had our go-to sushi spots in the Edmond/OKC area, but are always willing to explore new spots. From the outside Tokyo definitely does not look like much, but inside is the charm and character that our other spots have been missing. It is... More
Service was friendly and professional. Sushi was the best we ever had. The restaurant's front door is solid and not very welcoming though. It wood definitely be more inviting if you could see what you were walking into. Beer was cold.
Visiting OKC and this place has great review. I though the sushi was good but not great. Some of the items just didn't feel that fresh to me. Tried their desert and it was average at best. Good restaurant but not a 5 star rating like it has been reviewed by others as.
