Last time I reviewed this place I was not impressed and felt that the last few visits I had not had very good service but I am happy to say that its back on track. The last three visits have been great. I tried something new. Blackened Ahi Tuna with Squash Rockefeller. It was amazing and my waitress Christian, well... More

Plenty of choices from a well written menu of standard to somewhat exotic meals. We had great service. Wonderful Bloody and Smokey Mary's and everyone left happy and full. Nice place.

The traditional fried food is pretty good. Fish, shrimp etc. The portions tend to be on the small side and the prices are a little higher than you would expect. Overall, it is a pretty good place to eat as a local and you want to have something different, but there are better places to eat if you from out... More

Thanks so much for the review. I must say this is first time I have heard any mention of our portion sizes being too small :( We would love to get some more feedback from you. Feel free to give us a shout at funfresh@swbell.net! Thanks again! More

Restaurant had great decor and atmosphere but the food was just average. We asked for recommendations and were told everything was great. We did not order oysters because they weren't able to confirm they had daily deliveries. Salmon - dry; shrimp on a shingle-dry; fried alligator is more batter than meat and dry. Very disappointing. It was slow yet it... More

Everything was just fine, but just not great. For the price point, we expected a little bit more. I'm not sure with all the other dining options in OKC that this would be a place we would return to on future visits to the area.

I have been here before and it was great but we came for date night and it was horrible. The steak we ordered was 90% gristle. The server got our drinks wrong. There was maybe 15 people in the whole place. The service was so slow we waited over an hour for everything. Very disappointed and will not go back.

Delicious food and drinks! Loved my smokey Bloody Mary and Cajun smoked shrimp! The restaurant is decorated in a Northwoods theme, which we loved since we're from Wisconsin. With all the choices in drinks, our waitress was very helpful in explaining each and giving us her recommendations based on our preferences. We left VERY satisfied!!

We visited Trapper's for a Sunday lunch. Hubbie had the blackened catfish with red beans and rice (his favorite dish here). I like to mix it up so this time I ordered Shrimp Scampi. Both dishes were delicious. We had excellent service from Hayden. I had enough left to take home for another meal. Well done, Trapper's!

I love a good oyster Po Boy, and Trappers has one of the best I've eaten. Its definitely in the top-two! The service started a bit slow, but really picked up and was very polite and attentive. Management was also engaging the customers...always a plus. Had the Cajun seasoned fries with the sandwich. A bit over-seasoned for my taste, but... More

Trappers offers a truly unique backwoods fishing lodge atmosphere. It is located in the Reno/Meridian Hotel-Airport corridor, near the Fairgrounds. Trappers has been the "Horsemen's and Horsewomen's Headquarters" for over a decade. A 12 ft. Tall Kodiak bear greets customers as they enter the dining room filled with game trophies, authentic Indian canoes, and a live alligator tank. Favorites, along with signature mesquite grilled seafood dishes, are the blackened prime rib, mesquite grilled steaks, quail, and prime pork chops.
