Not the greatest. No main oyster dish, come on this is the Oregon coast! Salad had pineapple and shrimp? Way over priced, felt fast food to us, great service but hey we were the only people in the place at 5:30 to 6pm, drove by other places after leaving and they were packed, that tells me where the locals go,... My husband and I have eaten here several times and always get a bowl of clam chowder and share their Calamari appetizer. Both are excellent. The chowder is thick and full of clams which is the way we like it. The staff is very friendly and we like the atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We ended up here due to other restaurants being closed and it was a fabulous choice. Our waitress was delightful and the food was good. Several boats in the harbor had lights on.

Cozy ambience. Good view of the harbor and Christmas lights. Friendly wait staff. Very good food. I would eat there again when visiting.

We had dinner on a thursday night. Our first trip to the Oregon coast. We happened to stumple into this nice place. And were looking at menu on the wall. Michael walked out and invited us in, he suggested that his restaurant served the best. So, with some reluctance, we came in and ate. Everything was nice, the food was... More

Did a little shopping in town on our way thru. This place looked good so we gave it a shot. The staff was friendly and we were seated at a table with a nice view. The menu is mostly typical coastal deep fried fare. A bit pricy for plate size and quality but location, location, location. Based on the interactions... More

I asked a local for a recommendation for a seafood dinner, good quality but maybe not as spendy as some of the seaside restaurants in Bandon. The lovely woman in the winter river bookstore recommended the wheelhouse. She mentioned several dishes in particular and it sounded like a solid reference. I went there and enjoyed a lovely dinner. My server... More

Located in Old town Bandon, it's a nice place to take a break from shopping. Food was great, staff was friendly and service was good.
