Aside from the great service and delicious food ... and unlike the other sushi restaurant on Newport ... it was QUIET ... and a conversation was possible without leaning in towards the speaker or asking the speaker to repeat what they just said ... Bend is fantastic ... but in certain regards, seems to be losing a bit of the... More

I visited Five Fusion with my friend's family and had an awesome time. We started with edamame and cocktails moved on to sushi. We all shared several rolls and they were awesome. My favorite was the Steve McQueen. Our server, Keith, was incredibly knowledgeable and professional.

This place had the most interesting and wonderful mix of flavors. The togaroshi edamame starter might have been my most favorite thing, after the sake & gin cocktail. We ordered several other things including the five nigiri tasting plate and the risotto. I love a good, hearty plate of risotto and this was possibly my favorite. And it was a... More

We recently went to Five Fusion for my wife's birthday and felt the restaurant did not live up to its reviews or reputation. Perhaps we ordered the wrong things. My wife's halibut was overcooked and my scallops were pretty tasteless. Atmosphere was just OK. Service was very good.

Dinner for two with no alcohol ~$100 including tip: Foie Gras, Salmon Ceviche, Butterfish Nigiri, large tuna roll and seared scallops. All very well done and very attentive service. If this is really #34, Bend must be a foodie heaven.

Friday 4:45. Really good sushi! Happy hour portions are very small. And the dinner menu is expensive. $17 for a sushi roll. Happy hour drinks are good though. Nice experience but I'd save it for a special time when you aren't counting how much you spend.

Five Fusion has a great menu and a happy atmosphere. Along with their saki try one of the versions of sushi. The regular menu is filled with tasty and beautifully presented dishes. Get a reservation to make sure you get a table, at least on the weekends. It's just the right size restaurant, not too small or too big, perfect... More

We ate at this place a few years ago and we really loved it. However, this time the sushi was mediocre. The rice was old and falling apart. The ivory salmon nigiri and scallops dish were great. The other sushi the seafood wasn't worth the price tag.

On the first night we ate here we sat outside for drinks and a few appetizers. It was so delicious that we returned later in the week for dinner. The food and flavors were exquisite. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Never felt rushed, it was nice to linger with a pot of tea after our meal.

Nice sushi place with a pleasant ambiance. Nice fusion inspired combinations on the roles. But the sashimi was average at best and very (very) small portions for a high price. Staff was okay. overall a nice place to go but too high priced for what you get. I have been too much better at better pricing. I would not go... More
