I was pleasantly surprised by the food at Deschutes. I had a salmon special that was very good. They have a great selection of draft and bottled beers including some vintage beers. It's a good place to get some good food.

Normally when I think of brewpub, I think greasy food. This is NOT like the brewpubs that focus on the brew and forget the food part. The Korean wings were top-notch! And following up with the elk burger. It was one of the best burgers Ive ever had! The beer selection is mostly their beers but a wide variety of... More

The brewery was very busy when we arrived (after 8pm) but they got us in in half the time of the projected wait. There were over a dozen Deschutes beers to choose from - some of the beers were your normal everyday Deschutes grocery store selection and some were brewery only releases. We ordered the fish and chips and the... More

If you can get in( it's always busy!)it's a really good place for a family meal. An hour's wait isn't uncommon but there are plenty of things to keep you busy in downtown Bend.

Very cold outside but warm and friendly inside with great food, beer and service. Ordered the southwest burger, very tasty with a ton of fries. Spouse ordered the fish and chips with an awesome tarter sauce. She only could finish half. The choice of beer hits for everyone, If you aren't sure just ask for a taste. Then you have... More

Being in Bend one must go to a Brew pub. My family tried the Deschutes Brew Pub and were all pleased with our choices. The steak sandwich was very tasty, both kids were happy with their burger choices. My elk burger came to the table a bit more rare than I like, but the staff was quick to make another.... More

We hit up Deschutes with a group of 7 for dinner on a busy night, so we were waiting about 45 minutes. The ladies at the front desk were AWESOME when we had to adjust our numbers. Once we were seated our server was incredible. The food was slow to come out, but it was busy, we were a large... More

We have been visiting deschutes since 1996. Love it still. Bend has become a monster but the staff in general and the food at the public house are still good. It's a Mecca for travelers to Bend so be ready to wait.

We went there for lunch on dec. 26 and it was extremely busy. It took 10 minutes to get seated which wasn't bad. But then it took 30 minutes for our food to arrive. We were a party of 3 with mixed results: my husband enjoyed the elk burger, my son didn't care much for the cheese pizza - very... More

Great spot for really good brews, friendly staff and good food. We had dinner there on a night when it was 15 degrees outside. I recommend it as a casual place to have an easly dinner.

On February 1st 2012, nearly 25 years after our Bond Street Public House opened as the original home of Deschutes Brewery, we tapped the keg on a new era. Our newly expanded Pub offers more space, more seats, more service and one long-awaited less: wait times. As always, our talented team of chefs use only the finest ingredients, with an emphasis on fresh and handcrafted products. Everything possible, including sausage, breads and mustard is made on premise. Even your burger will come from local beef partially raised on feed recycled from our brewing process. And Bond Street remains your ringside seat on limited batch and experimental brews as well as year-round classic brews.
