My husband had very a very good waffle and three huge link sausages and it was delicious. I had a basic breakfast hashbrowns and good toast and eggs. The burgers are really good as well.

We usually try to fit in a meal at the Pilot Butte Drive In whenever we are in Bend. The hamburgers are very good as are the french fries. This is a long standing restaurant in Bend, and I like it, funky seats and all. If you are in Bend, and have a hankering for a good hamburger, find the... More

Came here for a lunch with my girlfriend, intending to get a good lunch and impress her with the l meals they are famous for. Not a chance! My hamburger was cold and had no taste and my girlfriends lunch was so bad she only ate a few bites and then threw it away. The seats have large tears in... More

Burgers are their thing from what I hear but my pulled pork sandwich, fries and coleslaw were great. Easy parking. Don't let the drive in stalls fool you..walk in and sit down instead.

$12 for a burger and fries. $5.50 for a shake. Justsaying. The burgers were just ok. If you want a really big bun, with a little 6oz patty hiding somewhere in the middle, and the old school shredded iceberg lettuce, some sliced unripe tomatoes in a fall apart when you pick it up sort of experience, pre-cut freezer fries, and... It is a small restaurant and can be crowded and noisy. However, the food is plentiful and very good. There is an old fashioned drive in area where I assume you can eat in your car.

I was in Bend helping a friend with a project. Stopped in at the Pilot Butte Drive In and bought 3 cheese burgers to go. Bill was $28. I tried to eat my burger in the car. Huge mistake! The lettuce, grease and pickle went flying. I fully understand the large burger but why can't they make it edible without... More

I read about pilot Butte drive-in on a website I decided I would give it a try. I had the Ortega burger and it was really good. The burner had poblano peppers and Monterey Jack cheese, so it wasn't spicy at all. The fries were really good also. Not really fast, but definitely worth the wait.

Stopped in for lunch. Hubby had the hamburger special of the day. Burger was large and well prepared. Fries were hot and crispy, (enough for two people), and served with their amazing fry sauce. They had a variety of sandwiches on the menu and I chose the hoagie club. It was tasty with generous portions of ham and turkey. It... More

the roasted garlic burger was so worth it. It is huge along with the fry's and fry sauce. Will definitely visit again. Very good service and clean.
