Great lunch. Wonderful selection of sandwiches. We all tried something different and everyone loved theirs. Good selection of wines too. Waitress very helpful.

I had the soup and sandwich. The soup is made in-house and it is quite good. We ordered a warm brie cheese plate for table and that was excellent. The French-press coffee is also excellent.

Twice in the past year we have stopped at the Horse Radish for a more-than-ample lunch. From Sunday through Thursday, it is open from noon to 3 pm; Fridays and Saturdays it is open from noon to 10 pm. Most recently, my wife and I both had a Carlton ham half-sandwich with soup for one, salad for the other. French-press... More

They have a great selection of wine and beer, and wonderful bread. Service was prompt and attentive. Everyone in our group enjoyed the meal.

Four of us had lunch at The Horse Radish will on a wine tasting visit to the area. All of us enjoyed our food and the casual, friendly atmosphere of the cafe. A nice place for lunch between tastings!

This is a very informal place that pays great attention to their food. They focus on local sourcing. Staff are amenable to customizing sandwiches for individual dietary needs/tastes. For us, a generous bowl of soup or a half sandwich/soup or salad provided a very satisfying lunch. We also appreciated that it is also relatively quiet, perhaps because it appears to... More

The Horse Radish serves great sandwiches in the heart of Carlton. They are very generous portions and very tasty. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. A must try when in Carlton.

We enjoyed both a lunch and dinner here on our Saturday night in Carlton. The lunch menu was varied with good but not excessive servings, enough to be filling but not enough to make you feel stuffed! Saturday night dinner was fun as there was live music with a great family of musicians/singers. The dinner menu had similar items to... More
