I was never so humiliated as when i was refused admission due to my disability. I suffer from aspergers syndrome and due to a misunderstanding was barred from entry into this bar. It was humiliating. There is no excuse for this blatant discrimination in eugene. I emplore the public to avoid this establishment which has no interest in an impartial... More

As a chef from nc all I can say is wow. What an amazing gator burger, cornmeal catfish, red beans & rice, slaw & collard green. I will be back soon.

Gumbo and Red Beans & Rice are the best I've had in Oregon. Catfish, collard greens, mac&cheese, hush puppies. Ribs and pulled pork smoked on location. Housemade BBQ sauces are good. Most everything else comes out of the deep fryer. Perfect comfort food for drunk people.

The fries with a side of habanero mayo is my favorite. The pulled pork is a great choice, but all the food is good.... More

I had to swim upstream against crowds of young people getting their drink on of a Friday night at The Horsehead Bar in what turned out apparently to be THE drinking (and street music) district of Eugene, so indoor real estate was at a premium and I decided to place my order to go. I'm glad that I did instead... More
