We had an unexpected and delicious lunch at Mt. Hood Brewing! The food was top rate, fresh and original. The skillet cobbler outstanding. Really a must have stop for lunch when you are in the area. Great waitress.

Heading up to Government Camp we stopped by the brewing company for drinks and food. There were 4 of us and all of us enjoyed our food and the service was very good. Be sure if you head up to that area in the winter time either put on chains or make sure you have all terrain tires as a... More

Dropped in last night for a beer and meal. Ambience is ok, not great but the competition in Goverment Camp is not up to much. Sat at the only table near the fire, after waiting over 10 minutes for service I was asked to move to a smaller table in case a larger group came in. Pub was maybe 25%... More

We never miss a brewery. First of all, great happy hour for those who are watching their dollars. We all also thought the beer choices were great - there was something for everyone. They also offer some creative cocktails and if you are eating there, don't miss the chilli.

We ate here twice on our trip over the New Year... very busy location, especially "after ski" which is to be expected. The servers are running constantly but do their best to keep up with the crowd. Unique menu items with healthy options to choose from, as well as the typical pub food. Menu isn't extensive but is good. It... More

Beers were great...IPAs were a bit more like pale ale's and not quite as bitter as most IPAs. Highly recommend the mac and cheese!

Decent beer and tasty food. Good seating and wait staff is plentiful and attentive. My only issue is the light above the booths are way too bright. Felt like I was under a spot light.

I was visiting my daughter in Portland in October and we took a day to hike a little in the Mt. Hood area. Not only was the fruit ripe, but it was crisply cool and was snowing before we left. We stopped at Mt. Hood Brewing late afternoon, early evening. We did not order food, but the selections we saw... More

Sat right next to the Best Western we were staying at, and glad to have such a great place so close. I had the Mac and Cheese and it's enough for two meals. My wife had the fondue, and it comes with lots of food! Our waitress, Emily, was very friendly. They have seasonal beer's as well as their specialty... More

We wandered in on a Sunday about 8:30 and the place looked closed? The bartender greeted us & said they were open. Pleasantly surprised from there. Food, drinks & service were all stellar.

In January 1991 the Mt Hood Brewing Company opened, serving locally-produced beers and hearty pub fare in a family-friendly atmosphere. In October 1992, the newly constructed ten barrel brewery rolled out its first barrel. Eight distinctive ales are produced by the union of pure glacial water, Pacific Northwest barley and hops and the inspiration of the Mt Hood Brewing Co's brewers. These delightful beers can be enjoyed at the Mt Hood Brewing Co brewpub in Government Camp and throughout Timberline's other Mt Hood restaurants. Oregonians can also find these ales on draft at restaurants throughout the state. The Mt Hood Brewing Co was founded upon the notion that, like the best wines, beer is best produced in small, handcrafted batches utilizing the finest ingredients. The brewery's commitment to this standard demands that each keg arrives at its destination while still in its prime, fresh and wholesome. Thus, none of the beer leaves the State of Oregon. Like the beer, Mt Hood Brewing Co's food is always fresh and locally-sourced. Kids and adults alike enjoy the pub's tasty starters, signature pizzas and hearty entrees. Many menu items are prepared with Mt Hood Brewing Co beer and are best paired with a cold pint. Thousands of skiers, tourists and locals have made the Mt Hood Brewing Co an institution on the south slope of Mount Hood.
