Food was above par. I ordered the meatloaf and hubby had the beef stroganoff. Excellent atmosphere, and the owner was very gracious and friendly. Service a little slow, but food is worth the wait.

An intimate yet casual dining experience where you visit both for exceptional Northwestern flavors as well as Northwestern hospitalit.

We were so surprised when we discovered this little gem. We had seen it for about a year and finally stepped inside and fell in love. The decor is "eclectic" and it has a family atmosphere. The food is all fresh and cooked by a chief who will come out to visit occasionally. Breakfast is served on Sundays and it... More

Walked in for dinner on a Thursday night before Halloween after reading the menu posted outside. Our B&B hosts had recommended three different restaurants in downtown Gresham and we chose this one of the three. It's a quaint restaurant. A little dark for reading the menu. We had to get our phones out (that's what happens when you are over... More

Excellent food, great people, good prices, what more could you want? Everything is fresh and locally sourced. Menu has something for everyone yet is not overly complicated. We've been there for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is good but nothing that will knock your socks off, don't let that fool you about dinner though. Dinner service kicks it up several notches... This was our first time to Mark's. Excellent food. Decor is well done, old fashioned and simple. Server was very attentive. My wife had a chicken dinner and I tried the salmon. Both were very good..

Mark's is a nice if somewhat oddly decorated restaurant. The choices are limited as they are doing the locally sourced thing. The salad and bread were very nice. The main courses were of good quality, but uninspired. Definitely the right place if you are looking for mom's cooking. We were hoping for something a little more.

Had dinner here with friends, and we were duly impressed. Our choices ranged from pork chops to a vegetarian quinoa entree and we couldn't have done better for twice the price in Portland. The only thing holding me back from giving it a top rating is how over solicitous the wait staff was. Way too chatty! But in fairness, it... More

We have only had the pleasure of two trips to Marks to date and both have been scrumptious. The homemade cheese bread is amazing and the fresh salad that comes with dinner is very tasty. A little disappointed we came in too late for surf and turf or the coconut prawns, but understand that a small fresh food restaurant only... More

I loved everything! Decorated adorably, and the food was truly incredible. Our server was very personable and we will definitely be back.
