Driving West from the Oregon border you travel through a beautiful canyon and then in the middle of nowhere is the Oasis Cafe with green fields and leafy trees surrounding it. I've been driving this road for 25 years and it is the rare time that I don't stop here. Typical diner food that sits well for sure but our... More

This is truly a must stop! This family style diner has it all. A huge variety of menu items made to order with large servings. They also have homemade fudge, ice cream, milkshakes and pie! Our breakfast was just great. The chicken fried steak was traditionally done, pancakes super fluffy and came in the shape of mickey mouse (I loved... More

Stopped on our way from Boise and this was the first place we saw in miles. If we weren't so hungry we would have kept driving. It was frightful on the outside and no better once we stepped in. We sat down, ordered and hoped for the best. I must say the food was good old fashioned diner food! So... More

I love this café! They have a hotel, also! I tend to stop here when I'm traveling out hwy 20, both directions because I know that the service is top notch and the food is absolutely amazing, though modestly priced.

Just driving thru on highway 20 on a road trip through the Southwest. This was by far the best diner on the trip. The atmosphere was cozy, staff was friendly, and the food was to die for. I will have to trek out here again specifically to eat at the Oasis Cafe!

I pulled in for breakfast. Love these local Mom and Pop places. Sassy waitresses were fun and efficient. Coffee kept coming The chicken fried was huge and not deep fried, a very good sign. Eggs done right and as ordered. Huge home made hashbrowns. I about needed a nap after eating all that. It held me till supper Next time... More

Stopped on our way to Bend (and between there and Bend there is not much), and was pleasantly surprised by the good comfort food. Well worn location and definitely well used furniture, outdoor/farm foot traffic left dirt on floor, but breakfast and lunch food very good. Denver omelet, steak and cheese omelet, BLT, grilled cheese - all very good. Homemade... More

We stopped twice in the past week and did not get anything except the milkshakes. Just great - perfect oasis on the drive across Oregon. They will mix and match the flavors so I ordered a chocolate and coffee one time and a chocolate and caramel the next. We did not try any other menu items and the atmosphere is... More

After traveling on Highway 20 it was time for a break. My husband was hungry, I wanted a snack. Good choice. I had an ice cream sundae...yum! My husband ordered salibuary steak, fried potatoes and salad. Tons of onions! tasted good but was a little tough. Then came the homemade fudge...none better. Now the ambiance. I was not sure if...
