I really enjoyed the prix fixe lunch ($25) and wine pairing ($16) at Jory's. This included the curried squash soup, a small salad, and a pulled pork sandwich on freshly baked ciabatta. Everything was delicious and service was impeccable. I really felt pampered by the wait staff. The atmosphere was elegant (white tablecloths) yet comfortable, making it a great place... More

I had tried months ago to make a reservation for eight at Jory's for Thanksgiving but was told it was not possible, but they did agree to put us on a waiting list and we were delighted to receive a call saying we could come for dinner. Our group was impressed with the service as well as the food. It... More

Several of our family members were in Portland for the Thanksgiving holidays. The day afterward Thanksgiving we went to Jory Restaurant for a casual time of enjoying wine, having some snacks and conversing. We ate "outside" in a tented patio with a pleasant gas fire pit we could gather around. The service was friendly and helpful. We started with some... More

We visited Jory on our 15th wedding anniversary. Being from out of town we relied on reviews. It was really good. Service was outstanding. Ambiance is good, it's in a resort hotel so it does have a hotel restaurant feel but very upscale. Food was good. I was hoping for slightly better, but I think it was our choices. I... More

Wonderful way to end the day after wine tasting. Appetizers are almost big enough for a meal if you want to eat light. The truffle fries are virtually out of this world. Can make many gluten free items. Our daughter has Celiacs and she had a lot of great options.

Fairly expensive but well worth it. They have a fantastic happy hour. I've never been disappointed here.

My wife and I ate brunch this past Sunday. 15 minute wait to get water, my starter( a very good buttermilk biscuit) came with my entrée. For $75 for the two of us I was not impressed.

I am a true foodie. The service is not up to par. A long wait after ordering. The food is mediocre. The drinks are mediocre. The staff at the bar and the restaurant are wonderful! The atmosphere and the surrounding areas are superb! The outdoor fire-pit is an added plus.

We are here twice on a recent stay at the Allison Inn. Food was perfect. The chocolate dessert was one of our favorites. Wine and bourbon selection was excellent. Would definitely return.
