Be sure to go on a reasonably clear day where you can see the view. Rain is OK, but if it's foggy, you won't be able to see much. In a place where it rains a lot, there are what we call "sun breaks". Slid in there during one of the sun breaks and you'll be glad you did. Otter... More

Well staying at the Inn at Otter Rock, we decided to give The Lodge a try (weather just to blustery to venture off the resort). Given the menu selection and price point, we expected a casual plus dining experience (and dressed accordingly). Upon entering The Lodge, we realized that was not the case (over dressed, should have stuck with the... More

Food was OK. Were not many people there, were not rushed, service was personable. Would not qualify as 'fine dining'.

The fish is fresh and seasoned just right! Black beans and brown rice top it off! Restaurant is super seasonal but don't let that fool you! The ocean view is great spent in a sparsely seated dining room. Enjoy your privacy!

Not anything to write home about, but the view at sunset is very nice. We both had burgers that were overcooked and had very little flavor.

The night we ate here, it was dead. No customers, which is a very bad sign. It was freezing in the restaurant. I saw a floor heater sitting near the door, but it was not turned on. The waitress was perky enough; however, our food was not flavorful. The french fries were golden brown, but frozen on the inside :(... More

The food was just average and I feel over priced. It is too bad as it has a great location. The server was very good.

This unassuming little place offers a small but great menu. The chowder was more like a bisque. It is missing the chunks but not the flavor. Everything is fresh. Made even better by the view. We also enjoyed the infused liqueur drinks. Behind the bar you will find several jars of different liqueurs infused with fruits and spices. Very unique... More
