I ate at Rose's on 23rd Ave in the early 1980's. I can still say 30 years later that their's was the best Reuben I've ever had!

Took a chance on the Reuben sandwich. It was great. One of the best I've had. A little on the pricey side but worth it if you split with your spouse.

You go to Rose's for 2 things, a huge Deli Sandwich and a Desert. My favorite sandwich is the L.S. Supreme which you have to strain your jaw to get your mouth open far enough to eat it. It come sliced in thirds, just eat one for you want desert, my choice is a Strawberry Whipped Cream Roll.

We were so looking forward to visiting here for lunch on a Sunday. We used to live in Portland years ago and remembered Roses fro then. We went to the address on our GPS. We walked and drove around and did not ever find it. Is it under new ownership? New name? So disappointing.

This place is a good example of high price does not always equal good. In addition to not tasting good, there were remnants of other items in my omelet. Not sure if it was from an unclean grill or them reusing a spatula. Toast had mold on it and I wasn't brave enough to try the hashbrown after the other... More

Picked up the daily special of cheeseburger and fries. The price was reasonable. The cashiers kept warning customers that it would take awhile. Maybe they wanted to dissuade orders. The meat was kind of neh, the fries crisp and hot and few. Drinks are refillable and the is a nice banquette is seats in front where you can plug in... More

We like their food overall, but it their cakes that are super. When we were planning our wedding, we had a lot of fun going around and trying various bakeries for cakes we could use for our wedding . They won hands down, We had them prepare three different cakes, we picked the up the day before and they were... More

Excellent reubens, corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. If you have a yen for NY style deli food, this will fill the bill, Kornblatt's in the NW is great too, but if you want to avoid going downtown and stay in the burbs, this will certainly do the trick. Had to take half of it home for later.

My husband and I ate here in a connection through PDX. We had debated Beaches but didn't want to go outside security. The food was just ok although prices were good - Under $8 each for our meals. Nothing spectacular although staff was friendly.
