Read rave reviews and decided to visit this restaurant. The spiced flatbread was fantastic with the beetroots dip. Very fluffy, soft and well-seasoned. The pork crackling was a huge disappointment, chewy and not crispy. Although I gave my feedback I was told that chef said its supposed to be this way. Puzzling, cos I have eaten sufficient pork cracklings to... More

We really enjoyed our dinner Sunday night. We had a cheese board and some vegetarian "warm plates". All were fresh and well done. They even happily accommodated my request for a ginger mule which wasn't on the menu. The only "off" note was when we asked what cheeses were on the cheese plate, nobody seemed to know and insisted we'd... More

What a great experience. We took our chances and walked in shortly after 5pm. Warmly greeted and sat at the bar. We were on vacation from Canada although partially researching their wood burning oven for a restaurant we are opening back home. An eclectic, yet strangely familiar and comforting interior instantly put us at ease, along with an excellent playlist... More

This is not the dinner to go to if you are in hurry. The food is prepared slowly and you can taste the effort and thought that went into it. We loved everything we ordered.

Finally made it here. Small place, as many here in Portland are. Food was very good, service was meh. Perhaps I am spoiled, but when I get a meal delivered, I expect the server to re-cap what I am eating. They did not do this, and when I asked, I was told the wrong thing. I believe that the 'front... My husband and I dined here while visiting Portland--had read good reviews and were intrigued by the wood grill. There were so many things that we wanted to try that we ended up sharing multiple apps and an entree. The tomato and peach salad was absolutely delicious and the mussels were so good that we ordered a second serving!! Delicious... More

This place is not to be missed. It's cool, creative, friendly and the food is absolutely fabulous. They have amazing cocktails, and a creative menu of delicious food. Everything is wood grilled deliciousness. Don't forget to try the cookie.

Wonderful cozy restaurant with a great patio for dining al fresco. Three of us shared salads and entrees, each prepared with fresh local food, beautifully presented. The fresh heirloom tomato and peach salad was a wonderful explosion of harvest season flavors and the albacore tuna medallions, an Oregon specialty, were fabulous!

We recently had dinner at Ned Ludd in Portland. This restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and is quite charming. It was a delightful dinner. I had the trout and my husband had the pork. We each enjoyed our meals which were beautifully presented and accompanied with a fine selection of wine and beer. Prices are reasonable for a... More
