My wife and I were vacationing in Portland, and the hotel staff recommended Hubers. The atmosphere is wonderful, with lots of brass and red leather, and Art Deco stylings and fixtures. A real treat to watch the bartender make the Spanish coffee with such flair! We both had the turkey dinner, which was superb! Highly recommend if you like history... More

When you go to Portland you HAVE to go to Huber's for the Spanish Coffee. Also, great turkey dinner in the oldest restaurant in town!

I was in the city for work and went to Huber's with some friends. We went to the back room of the restaurant, which looked like it was straight out of a speakeasy in the old Al Capone days. The service was great, but the food was ok. It wasn't terrible and I wouldn't write home about it, but it... More

I don't think I have gone to Huber's for anything but the Spanish Coffee. It is very good and the waiter makes it table side. It's a bit of a show they put on to make it so it's a fun place. Usually I would give them a 5 but this particular night I was a little sad by the... More

I was here for lunch on a really cold day in Portland. I had their turkey with dressing plate and was not disappointed. Real good service and turn of the century ambience

If you go to Huber's, the bar is architecturally interesting and creates a great (if noisy) place for a drink. The restaurant offers mediocre food. So basically, this is not a place to go for food, but is a landmark in Portland.

I am a 4th generation Oregonian and have places that not only do I love to go to , but is a must see for out of town guests. . This is one of them. Their Spanish coffees are a special treat! The drink is killer, only have one if you are driving. Delicious yes, but a behold to watch... More

Huber's was a step back into the 1940's with it's music and ambience. The food was mostly Italian. I had the Chicken Piccata and it was outstanding. The service was first rate and the wine was superb. This is a great dining spot if you want good food and want to enjoy the ambience of the 40's. I highly recommend... More

Make a reservation! They turned us away the first time we tried to dine here. But once we had a reservation, it was amazing. Be sure to order the Spanish Coffee - it is quite a presentation and delicious too! The turkey dinner is amazing and better than Grandma's best Thanksgiving dinner! Service was friendly and prompt, our water glasses... More

Sometimes you just HAVE to have turkey done the old fashioned way. Whole roasted turkey. Gravy. Mashed potatoes. Dressing. We opted for the full meal, so coleslaw sweet, tangy, not too gooey -- and bread pudding. Nothing beats moist, perfectly cooked turkey. This is the restaurant of my childhood. We eat in the old bar area with the vaulted stained... More
