The price that was originally on the website was different than in the restaurant. The food was very expensive and the amount of food was very small. My overall price was $74 for 4 people. Lastly I wanted to pay 10% tip instead they added $15 to my bill. they ruined my night.

I payed the cab to get there, but it was closed on the time that they were supposed to be open. Very bad experience!

We have been to this place few weeks ago for lunch and it was just OK. But not satisfies the expectations of a Persian restaurant. Food was tasty and the person in charge was very polite polite. The food portion was small. I haven't ever seen in any other Persian restaurants that Chelo-Kabab comes with one skewer of ground beef.... More

Went there on a Saturday night whilst visiting Portland. It was quite busy, but that is no excuse for the appalling service we received. We waited ages for even a glass of water and menus. The food took forever and was just mediocre, very disappointed with it. I ordered a Persian House Wine (that's what it said on the menu)... More

We ate at the Persian house and were so happy we chose this for dinner. Appetizer plate had the most well flavored grape leaves I've ever had. My wife who usually doesn't care for eggplant liked the smokey flavored Babaganoosh as much as the hummus. We each had a stew for entree, hers vegetarian mine lamb, and both were delicious.... More

We ordered the 'Tour of Persia' vegetarian options, more than enough to eat! Server was very friendly and helpful, nice experience, decent food.

Stopped by there on a rainy Friday night, the place was packed. The only waitress was obviously over whelmed! The Kebob took every minute of the 45 minutes ( warning written in the menu cooking time). Rice was under done and has been steamed enough!

I love this little Persian restaurant. The owners are so sweet and will make sure you are takin care of. I brought my husband's family here to experience some of my Persian culture (I was too lazy to cook this weekend) so we each ordered the tour of Persia..what a killer deal! For $19.95 you get to choose appetizer ,... More
