Like so many places, the enjoyment you find here in the dishes available largely depends upon your individual taste, and exactly what you order. Where I usually throuughly enjoy the food I get here, today I order the Szechuan Beef for lunch, and didn't find it to be the best. Normally, the food is just great. My son, in particular,... More

I live very close to Chiam, I often order from their menu quite frequently. Their food is quick, delicious and very affordable. They also serve great burgers.

Look I get it, the place is dingy, and the bar is dive like. If you don't like that kind of thing be ready. ALSO this is not Szechuan food, this is that old school American Chinese, the spicy food is not spicy and the Egg Foo young is the best while the the kung pao is so so. So... More

The quality of the food and options have been reduced during our recent visit to the Chiam restaurant. There were very few customers in the restaurant section, the bar was very busy. We used to visit frequently when they were in their Murray location, but will not eat there or use their take out option sine their move to Cornell... More

We needed a no hassle, casual, something different during the December holidays and chose a local Chinese restaurant that my father-in-law has used for take out. We chose a fixed dinner four four ($9.95/ person), but I think there was enough for a dozen people. First there was a choice of soup --- and the hot and sour is HOT... More

This place has been around forever. It has very good Chinese food. Its not swanky by any means but if you are looking for REAL Cantonese food, you will find it here. The pork egg foo yung is excellent

funny how people can insult a Chinese food joint. you do realize that 100% of all Chinese food restaurants buy their food frozen from a wholesaler like Cisco and then just heat and serve right? ever notice the buffalo wings you get at *ANY* restaurant are *exactly* the same? yeah, that's why. so when people say this place is bad,... I am surprised that any restaurant this dreadfully bad is still in business. The over all food quality cannot compare to even the worst fast food type restaurant. The quality of the food is obviously not a consideration here. I arrived during the dinner rush. The parking lot was packed full of cars. The restaurant part of the building was... More

This has become our evening stopping place if we are out and about in the evening. We normally eat in the Bar area where it is friendly and relaxing. Food is excellent, plentiful and reasonable priced. Shrimp chow mein was excellent and we always have leftovers to take with us. The bar drinks are reasonable and atmosphere just fine to... More

My family absolutely loves this place, and has been going here for years. The owners/managers are always friendly, making a point to greet us by name and to welcome us back to the restaurant. The food is excellent! Make sure to order pan-fried noodles with any chow mein order - they are crispy, delicate and amazing! This is your traditional... More
