Meriwether's is pricey, but when you want excellent food and service it is a terrific place to dine! I had the sirloin, my wife the trout. Both prepared perfectly. My starter was the mushroom risotto, which is some of THE BEST I have ever had, and I love risotto and order it often. Michael our server was terrific. Everything was... More

This January I ate at Meriweathers twice. My daughter and son-in-law joined me for dinner one night. The service, food and ambiance was perfect. We enjoyed apps, drinks and entrees of pasta, fish and pork. Then I came to Meriweathers for lunch with my four friends, and had another fine dining, fun experience. Trevor, our waiter/bartender did an excellent job.... More

I've now eaten at this lovely joint twice. Once for dinner with my children and the other for brunch with my man. All of the food has been wonderful. Their vegetables are top notch and excellently prepared. I especially like the salads. One awesome thing about Meriwether's is their children's menu. It doesn't just have the usual stuff on it... We went for lunch with out of town company. Two ordered salads, one the reuben and I got the vegetable soup. It was a large bowl of soup with a big piece of bread so was plenty for me. The reuben was huge, very delicious and very messy - definitely the best value on the menu. Both salads were very... More

The menu here offers salads, sandwiches and pasta. Everyone in our party enjoyed their dishes. Service was attentive and polite. The restaurant has a parking lot which is a real plus in the Alphabet district.

We took our daughter and grandchildren to Meriwether's for her birthday. What a great evening. The staff is next to perfect. They are all wonderful with children, they made our meal even more pleasant. The food is super fresh (much coming from their own farm and gardens). It is not super fancy but super good. The only problem - it... More

We were welcomed by a poorly dressed couple and after 10 minutes waiting at a half full restaurant, got seated next to a service area where a non-stop parade of waiters bumped into our table. The room was stuffed with tables so close together the wait-staff could not easily maneuver the incessant number of chairs they carried over our heads... More

My wife and I had brunch here for the first time, even though it is only a 20 minute drive from our house. They have a parking lot just for Meriwether's, which is a nice treat in this part of town. The restaurant was wonderfully decorated for Christmas and the holidays which added to the charm of the inside and... More

Ordered the beet and Arugula salad with a side of Rosemary bread. The green dressing was very delicious. Entree was fried Idaho trout on a bed of lively kale, mushrooms and apples. The restaurant has a very nice setting with old fashioned dark wood tables and chairs. Lots of ladies having Christmas lunches so the ambiance was festive and homey.... More
