This was our second Visit to the Elusive Trout. Home made bar food. Soup and grilled cheese are always a good bet. The skin on French fries make me quite happy. Great beer selection. But the bartender - she is funny and really makes it worth the stop!

My wife, our daughter and I enjoyed lunch back on Father's Day. Great to support a gluten free restaurant close by. Real treat. Six months later my wife and I decided to go back for another visit. We split some onion rings and two dinner salads. My wife ordered hot tea. The rings were tasty as we remember them. My... More

No need to hurry, small family owned place with warm friendly service and great local fare. We spent a couple evenings enjoying the local flavor of the place.

I rolled out of there after eating so much. I literally want to travel back to Oregon just to go back to this restaurant. I have never been somewhere that I felt so safe eating at. And everything I ate was amazing....and those gluten free onion rings!!!!

I had the Fish & Chips - because I could! They did not disappoint. Also got to try the onion rings that my hubby ordered with his Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, which he said was very good. I wish the waitress had told me earlier that they had gf dessert because I had already polished off my fries and was... More

Ate lunch here with friends from work. Service was very good as they were fairly busy for a weekday lunch. For whatever reason our food took a while and they brought us a complimentary basket of fries for it taking so long. We each had a beer with lunch. The prices for the food are listed on the menu, the... More

Very small crowd & service was okay. Had the caesar salad with chicken. Mostly lettuce with little dressing. Very small amount of chicken. My husband had a burger which he described as about average. This used to be a great place with the original owners. Sorry it isn't the same.

We tried this place as they offer GF fish and chips. We ordered 3 orders of the halibut fish and chips, which we were both surprised at the small quantity of fish :{ It was fun having a GF option for fish and chips, you don't find this often. I must admit that I felt it to be over priced... More

Came here for dinner on July 4. Not too busy in there but seemed a few had just been sat so we were part of a little bit of a rush. Server was friendly as can be but seemed a little overwhelmed. She made us a drink we ordered but she freely admitted it wasn't quite right because they were... More
