On WB Main just before you leave Springfield, TEENSY parking lot, old dead decor, (like its time to dump the empty fish tanks). Ample seating. Asian staff and almost all patrons are Asian. HUGE PORTIONS but not cheap, $10.50 combo plate, but it is a big plate and filled edge to edge. BBQ pork very tender, good rice, chow mein... More

I've eaten here for a long time and was concerned when I found out there were new owners. But the place looks better actually (e.g., the horrible, nasty lobster tank is gone) and the food was really, really good. I will definitely be going back.

Having spent a year in Taiwan, I've had a hard time finding AUTHENTIC Chinese food. Spring Garden has it IF you order from the non-combo type of menu. You know it's good when 1/2 the clients are Chinese and the menu is in both Chinese and English.

I learned of this place from a Korean co-worker, who likes the king snake. They serve an amazing array of fresh and dried seafood dishes, all of which I've tried were phenomenal. Service was attentive and smooth. Prices are a wee high, but this is not standard Chinese-American food. No General Tso here.

We were here on a velomobile ride. Some of the group opted for lunch at Spring Garden. Overall, food was deemed to be average (based on the opinion of a person who used to live in China) and the service was deemed to be great. This seems like a worthy place to stop for Chinese even if you expect true... More

Our two lunch entrées were very ordinary. The vegetarian egg rolls were slightly better than average. The facility needs an update--especially the washroom. The server was fairly attentive, at least.

Always busy especially when UO is in session. Great food with many dishes you don't see many places. This place has a big following with Asian students from UO. Our favorite dish is the War Won Ton soup. Meal in it self. Highly recommend if you can get in.

There is a reason you always find numerous Chinese people in this establishment. Authentic and tasty, a combination that will definitely get you hooked and come back for more.

Updating my previous review. We have returned to eat several times since, and I am pleased to report that we have gotten better service on all our visits (although we have not been back on a Saturday night). The service is usually reasonably good, and has been adequate and normal. We have tried many more dishes and most are tasty.... More

My wife and I had dinner on a Friday night, and although the restaurant was busy (20-30 guests), we were seated quickly, received the menus and water quickly, and had our order taken quickly. My wife ordered the chicken chow fun dinner ($8.95, with about 3/4"-wide noodles rather than the thin noodes of chow mein), while I ordered the kung... More
