I've eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner at Josie's over the past year or so. I've enjoyed every meal.. Recently stopped in for dinner with a friend. I ordered the Meatloaf Sandwich w/gravy, Mac & Cheese and Coleslaw. I rarely order meatloaf anywhere. Josie's was the Best Meatloaf this side of heaven and I only say that because my mother made... We were out this way visiting a friend's cabin in Glendale and they brought us here for breakfast. This is a cute little town and the diner almost looks like a house from the outside. It is every bit a small town diner! The service is great, the staff is friendly, and the food is excellent! Not to mention how... More

Stopped in for breakfast, ordered the "big breakfast" only $8, you get two pancakes the size of medium pizzas! They are huge and pretty good. All the food was pretty good, and the waitress was nice. It was a bit stuffy in there but not horrible. I will go again and again.

We had a cabin at Prince Gallitzin State Park and on what started out to be a rainy fall day we decided to drive up to Coalport for groceries and to have lunch. We stopped at Josie's and had a wonderful meal and our waitress was so nice. Not only was the food good, but she kept the coffee and... More

My dad, boyfriend and son LOVE this place! They have huge pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes! They homemade soups, homemade turkey dinners, pork dinners. Just lots of good home cookin'. I love the atmosphere, too. You are in a small town, country, rustic wooden, fun restaurant with great service. Very friendly. Coalport is an old boom coal town and you feel... More

We were quickly greeted and seated on a very busy Sunday morning. Menu has been revamped but the old favorites are still intact. Love all the new decor, feels fresh and inviting...especially the deck. Generous portions and fair prices. Had the "breakfast mess" and it was great! Massive pancakes and incredible looking desserts. Will definitely be a frequent flyer.

Wonderful place to eat in the small town of Coalport, PA, only a few miles from Prince Gallitzin State Park. Very good menu to choose from and homemade deserts!! YUMMY! The owner is almost always there and willing to talk with the customers. She is hilarious and a joy to talk to! If ever in the area you should stop... More
