Wonderful options to explore, although it's hit or miss. Quail appetizer is really an overdressed salad with one lonely semi-boned quail. Thai Curry Mussels were terrible, just uncooked curry powder in the broth which is unforgivable... no coconut milk or chilies or anything else you would expect. Deviled eggs were great. Burger was amazing. Fish & Chips were excellent but... More

Classic English pub. Authentic menu. Rugby on the tele. Extensive beer menu including UK imports. Every weekend, special dinner menu. Tonight roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and sticky toffee pudding. Awesome. On Saturday come early. It's packed starting at 4pm. The offer free valet parking.

A cute little pub. Good cider on tap, delicious lunch. Nice selection and even some vegetarian choices. Lunch and Brunch menu when we were there on a Sunday.

the site was lovely deep in horse country. noticed a few horse ties in case you rode up on your trusty steed. the brunch menu was varied and the black and tan was as good as Ireland.

Over back roads through horse country to this lovely little tavern offering proper English fare in a friendly tavern atmosphere. Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash, Scottish Eggs with English Brews on tap. Quite a nice burger also and other state side favorites. If you don't know where it is best to GPS or Mapquest your journey as there are... More

Great British pub! They have over 100 different types of British beer. The food is excellent, nice and hearty. Generous portions. My husband loved the Beef on a Weck, I had a warm turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo and brie on rye. Excellent. My only complaint would be that our server told me that the sandwich special came with chips.... More

We went to The Whip at about 11:30 on a Sunday morning, and it was already crowded, and for good reason. The restaurant was warm and welcoming and very British; the service was pleasant and prompt; and the food was excellent. If you like Welsh Rarebit, get it here - it was delicious. Also, the toffee pudding is very good.... More

Good food and beer in the boonies. Pub atmosphere. Kid friendly. Interesting food but not all of it worth getting a second time. Beef weck sandwich delicious with fresh horseradish. Welsh rarebit, scotch egg, and chick pea fries not worth a repeat. Good selection of draft beer. Servers were very friendly but slow and not efficient. Requests for water and... More

My husband and I have been to the WHIP for dinner, lunch, but never for Brunch, which was our adventure this weekend. WOW!!!!! Fantastic! The Stickey Toffee Waffles with fresh whipped cream were over the moon. I got a side of Bangers (sausage) and just yummmmmmm! My husband ordered the traditional English breakfast, which he raved over for hours. I... More
