you will find this most unique place - small, but wonderful inside - with deck for summertime ... the best English/Irish food - antique wooden bar - best bangers and mash - fish and chips - delightful place to be ...

The Whip has a wonderful selection of food and everything I have tried has been cooked perfectly. It is on the expensive side and the parking is a little frustrating. You need to give this place a try if you have never been.

I ordered the sausage burger. I thought it was pretty good. The sausage had a slight kick to it. The egg was cooked perfectly. My bacon was a little too well done for my liking. Service was really great too even though the place was packed. The only con is the actual dining area it's loud, awkward, and I feel... More

Dined at The Whip for Robbie Burns' night. Their half and half beer was perfectly drawn, the Fox cider always refreshing. For a starter we had the Welsh Rarebit, a savory cheese dish second to none. In honor of Burns, we shared haggis with tatitiies and needs, and a beef on week. Both were delicious, yes even the haggis. For... More

Went for lunch on a Sunday, looong wait as they do not take reservations but the food and the service were both good. I had the beef on weck and it was very good. Would go back but try to find a time when they were not so busy.

Great authentic English pub in the heart of Chester County horse country. Huge beer and ale selection, wonderful food, cozy atmosphere and friendly service makes for a very popular spot. Only down side is it is so popular it is hard to get in.

The atmosphere is of a country pub. The food is excellent and the serving is filling. Great selection of beers. Highly recommend

We have been regulars at The Whip for the last 10-years. Their tap beer selection of imported beers was the main attraction with s cornucopia of good British Pub Fare. Our last few. visits have den a gradual deterioration in their signature assets. The tap beer selection is now quite limited and the "special beers" are mostly American micro-brews instead... More

The atmosphere was cozy but I was disappointed to learn they only served beer and cider for alcoholic drinks and they were somewhat expensive at $7+ per glass. I got the bison sliders which was good but my wife complained that her cod was small and nothing special
