My sister and I had breakfast here, knowing that it was a 50's style drugstore counter restaurant. When we walked in, we were delighted. The restaurant section has grown to include a couple of counters and some booths. We sat at one of the counters and revealed in the interaction between the friendly waitresses and the locals. We decided to... More

Fun setting in a vintage diner. Wait staff friendly and helpful but a little stretched, making the lunch take longer than it should have to arrive.

The Pharmacy is a step back in time with a 50's style diner like restaurant with good homemade Pa Dutch food right inside. Down home small town friendly. A different experience for sure during our Lancaster County visit.

We started our rail trail ride in Bainbridge Pa 10 miles north of Columbia on the River Trail. It was located inside the Drug store. What a wonder place just out of the 1950's to eat breakfast before our ten mile ride back to our starting point.

This is a fun, old-school pharmacy lunch counter experience, with either booths or counter-top seating. The waitresses are buzzing around, taking orders and delivering delicious sandwiches, soups, specials, and desserts. It is hard to break the bank here! We enjoyed the variety of sandwiches and soups, some that are local specialties you won't find anywhere else. Everything was fresh and... More

I felt like I was back in the 60's, this Pharmacy has a old fashion counter/booths. They serve a great burger, with really home made french fries. The service was outstanding, our lunch was served by Doc Hinkle. He help out during the lunch break. He is the 3rd generation to own and run his Pharmacy. His son is tending... More

There isn't anything too special about Hinkle's but the food is tasty and served quickly. A good place to eat before you head to the Turkey Hill Experience.

We are of the "boomer generation" and remember when every town had a pharmacy with a lunch counter. Eating at Hinkle's was a trip down memory lane for us. The menu offers so many choices it's hard to decide what to order. We opted for burgers and they were delicious. Service is very friendly and efficient, and the prices are... More

Being a resident of Lancaster County I've eaten here many times but not recently. So on a recent weekday we stopped in for lunch. Wow - it didn't look like the place had changed in years - the same old cozy place where you always could get good food. My wedge sandwich with a small cup of potato salad was... More
