We had breakfast here, and it was okay. The omelette swerve filling, but the eggs were not well-mixed, and I hate those streaky yellow and white eggs. The potatoes were good. We also tried the banana bread French toast, which was tasty and dense. The major problems were the service ( had to wait almost an hour and trying to... More

We were traveling back from PSU to NY on Interstate 80 and saw the small sign for Tom's Kitchen. Tired of the same old chains along the interstate we decided to try Tom's Kitchen. It's about 2 miles off Interstate 80. A straight run off I-80. They have limited hours. 7AM-8PM. Just good old down home cooking. Nothing fancy in... More

We had breakfast at Tom's. Fresh ingredients, courteous and friendly wait staff, and affordable prices. The Apple pancakes were very good and I recommend trying them.

My son and I stopped here after a visit to Bloomsburg College. The diner was dated, but the staff was very friendly and attentive. We both ordered the bacon burger with fries - very good.

Stopped for dinner while travelling through the area. This is a very basic diner-style restaurant with listless decor, tired waiting staff, and mediocre food. I had the chicken parmesan (over-microwaved thin cutlets of rubber chicken with watery spaghetti). My partner had the meat loaf special (probably meat, tasty, but very, very bland and basic). Waitress asked if I wanted a... More

Found Toms kitchen with a overnight stay off Route 81. The atmosphere is very nice and the home cooked food was very good, staff very pleasant. Will definitely stop again when traveling this way.

Stayed at the Motel 6 down the road and had good breakfast here. Sometimes unknown restaurants make me sick which isn't good for long trips, but the food here was fresh and tasty.

Good staff, excellent food, fun specials. Happened upon this place after dark in a strange town. Was looking for a place to eat while staying at the top of the hill in Hazleton and went the wrong way for the chain places. Glad we did

Along with the Beltway Diner in Hazleton this was also a must stop each time we came to town to visit my folks. The staff always welcomed us whenever we showed up because my parents were such regulars. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I've had a variety of meals here and enjoyed every one of them. Good parking and... More

I had the chicken croquettes dinner, it was delicious!! The croquettes were sooooo tasty, seasoned perfectly, and the whipped mashed potatoes and gravy were awesome. I will definitely return when I next visit the area.
