The owner had stains on his T-shirt and was totally thrown off when I asked if I could have a milk to drink. He stated that this isn't a milk kind of place. The bathroom was an absolute cesspool with the toilet being stained with pee/poop/hair/who knows what else, everything was dusty, there were holes in the wall, and everything... More

I stopped in for the first time and had the house special the Boss Hog. It's a pulled pork sandwich and the pork is so incredibly moist and tender! One of the best pork sandwiches I have ever had. Will go back and try the ribs next time.

We tried Flame for a recent business meeting. It was a very nice Change of pace from subs and pizza. That being said as far as Q goes it was a little above average but not great. The pork spare ribs and the corn bread were very good. The chicken and pulled pork were pretty good too. I will try... More

While the restaurant is nothing fancy, the pulled pork burrito was very good. Better than most BBQ places I have tried in Georgia. Accompanied by a good birch beer, it made for a very good lunch. I'll definitely be back for more.

Nothing special! We stopped for lunch, items were reheated and small portions. Meats had little smoke flavor and the bbq beans would have been good minus the globs of fat...

I came out from a job in Detroit to see the wife's family in Pittsburgh. Contacted Lou (owner) the day before to place an order for a dozen family members. Pulled chicken and brisket, with sides of black-eyes and cheesy potato's. Lou was great, and the meal perfect for the hoard. The brisket was perfect - thin sliced with a... More

The Flame is not a sitdown place ( only 3 or 4 Tables) but mostly grab and go. I have tried the pulled pork, and ribs and they are good. service is quick and the place is clean. Great package deals can be had.

Was in town for a business meeting. Had the pulled pork burrito. Flour tortilla, pulled pork, some melted cheese and diced onions. Was just okay...nothing fancy or special. The taste of the pork WAS good and it was tender. A bit pricy for the amount of food I received (burrito was medium sized and it cost me over $7). My... More

This Friday night my wife and I were in the Cranberry, Pa. area, and with our "Enjoy" Book in hand, we decided to try out The Flame BBQ in Cranberry. The Flame is located on Rt. 19, in the Ogle Station Plaza which is essentially across from the new Field & Stream Store. The shop itself is at the far... More

This is a great place for baby back ribs. If you are looking for the restaurant style "pressed" ribs then this is not your place. It has a great sauce and the staff is great. You really feel like you are eating some food here. The sweet potato is AWESOME. Probably one of the best things I have ever eaten... More
