I went for lunch. The restaurant was almost empty which was fine by me. The food was average. Interesting - when you order iced tea, lemonade, etc it is served in a small pitcher with a straw. I understand in the evening when the bar...More

Thanks for stopping by! It's a shame our food didn't leave you impressed, but we're confident that something else on our menu would leave a better impression. Hope you'll be back for a fun evening soon! Best, Poco's Mexican-American Restaurant, Bar & Comedy Cabaret

This quote from a Woody Alan film is very appropriate in this restaurant connected to a comedy club. The dishes were served with neither rice nor beans on the side, allowing the diner to see how tasteless the over-priced food was. The shrimp tacos my...More

Fred, thanks for reaching out after your visit. It's disappointing to see you didn't enjoy your meal. We use high-quality ingredients in every dish, and we take great pride in our food. That being said, there are twice as many shrimp (6) in our shrimp...More

Thanks for coming by time and again. We are from Southern California, so most of our recipes are inspired by "Cali-Mex" dishes from that region, although we have added some more authentic Mexican dishes over the last couple of years such as chile rellenos and...More

Maxnmandysmom1 - You should be ashamed of yourself for both attacking a man's business and attacking a man personally. You have no idea what it takes to run a restaurant and your statement about an "Unfriendly Welcome" is simply not true. Friday and Saturday nights in a restaurant are extremely busy. We are in business to not only accommodate you but to also accommodate the hundreds of other patrons. The owner of Poco's has renovated the restaurant to add 20 more bar stools to better accommodate customers that only want to relax and have a drink. There is a wait list for customers that would like to sit and have dinner. In an effort to accommodate both types of patrons a business has to make certain decisions to best serve EVERYONE! With that being said, how dare you say you "feel sorry" for his employees. I have worked FOR and WITH him for over half my life and he is an amazing human being. Again, you should be ashamed of yourself. You owe both the owner of Poco's an apology as well as any one who read your review because it is SIMPLY not true.
