Wonderful place! Eating in an old diner car. Food is amazing! Huge portions! Love the grilled cinnamon roll! Good prices. Shanna was our server and she was so pleasant and friendly. Will definitely return when in town.

Wonderful friendly staff that greets you when you walk in. Love the vintage feel of the old traincar with nostalgic signs throughout. Huge portions made by hand each and every time. Great prices and wonderful homey feel. You will NOT be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I stopped here for breakfast. The employees greeted us as soon as we walked in. Very friendly environment. We both had the Greek omelet which was amazing! Great price for the food! Can't wait to eat there again!

It is relatively challenging for a vegetarian to eat there and don't think it would be much easier to do gluten free. Eggs and omelets are available. Regardless, the folks there are very hospitable and will be happy to work... More

GREAT Food, Great Prices, Friendly Staff, Clean Interior. Nostalgic 1948 Silk City diner (on the National Historic Registry) located in East Erie, Lawrence Park Township. Serving Breakfast from open till 11 am and Lunch 11 am to close. HOURS: Tuesday-Saturday 7 am to 3 pm. Sunday 8 am to 2 pm (serving from our Breakfast menu only on Sunday) Closed on Mondays.
