Our hot dogs, cheeseburgers and fries were all fresh. Our waitress this time was the best waitress we ever had. We eat here every couple of months. Would recommend.

Love the french fries with chili and cheese! I could eat there every day. Fun watching them make all the hot dogs piled high with onions. A true tradition in Hanover

Best hamburger/hotdog around. All the ingredients they use are top notch from the rolls to the onions. Great for lunch or a quick dinner. All around wholesome place. Prices are a little steep for what it is but i dont mind paying for good food.

We took our family to the Famous Hot Weiner on a Friday night, and it was fairly crowded, despite being early, mostly with retired folks. This raised expectations. We ordered two specials (two chili dogs and fries), some cheese & chili dogs, and one order of fish & chips. The amount of chili was generous. Actually, it was way too... More

It pains me to rate this as low as I believe it deserves but I am a foodie that always tries to be honest. I became a local about 5 years ago and have heard raving reviews about this place. I finally caved in, called a pick up order, and ate my meal at home. I ordered one hot dog... More

My family has been going to the Famous for as long as I can remember. At least 20 years, if not more. We live about 50 minutes away and it's always worth the drive. They use the perfect combination of quality hot dogs, THE BEST chili, mustard and just the right amount of onions. We always bring some home with... More

This establishment has been around for decades and the consistency of the quality of the food has not changed. They specialize in their secret recipe chili for the dogs, burgers, and fries. A hot dog with everything consists of a hot dog on a frsh roll with a touch of mustard, homemade chili, and fresh diced sweet onions piled high.... More

Was there with my family tonight. Got a bowl of chile, it wasn't a bowl. It was disappointing. Will not order again. Everything else was ok. Service was slow, food was out slow. Not the Famous I worked for. Just disappointing.

Much nicer than the Famous Hot in town. Limited menu of hotdog and burger. Beware the burger is just a burger cut in half on a hot dog bun with hot dog fixins. Lots of chopped onion just scrape it off until you have your amount. Fries just OK
