The restaurant at the Settlers Inn is always a must-do when we're in town. We generally go for breakfast but, a few nights ago, we had the distinct please of attending the Candlelight Christmas Dinner. Every detail was carefully thought-out and beautifully executed, and I enjoyed one of the finest evenings and meals I can recall. Make sure you stop... More

Food is excellent, a bit pricey and dinner attire is sport coat and perhaps a tie if you wish to add a bit of class to your dining experience.

Great food, great service. In the heart of a quaint little town. Prices were reasonable. Diverse menu.

Ambience is wonderful, beautiful dining room. Breakfast Saturday: service and food were perfect, except for the awful coffee, they should switch to Starbucks or some other brand. Breakfast Sunday: food good but understaffed for a Sunday morning breakfast. We sat for a full half hour before we had our order taken. Staff pleasant and food good, when it came. Overall:... More

Classic Arts and Crafts decore, relaxing atmosphere. Shared a table with good friends and were able to enjoy company over a delicious meal. All had the petite tenderloin, the presentation was beautiful. Service exceptional. A very limited menu I would have liked a bit more to choose from, also pricey but thoroughly enjoyable! Also had breakfast the next morning. EXCEPTIONAL!... More

I stayed in the companion hotel, Ledges Inn. The 2 hotels sponsored a Veterans Day special event. Settlers hosted the Veterans hospitality party. There was a meet and greet each other from 4-6 pm. I had dinner in the dining room. The service and food were superb.Prices were above normal street prices but worth it.

We had a lovely meal here over a long birthday weekend in the Poconos. Turns out great food, lovely ambiance and excellent service aren't as easy to find in the Poconos as in the Washington, DC area -- our two other dinners in the area did not meet the high bar set by The Settlers Inn. From a super-cozy lobby... More

We did not stay at the Inn; the food drew us, again and again. In addition to excellent cuisine at the Inn, their website provided useful information for scenic drives, local historical locales and carefully researched tourist literature. Both the food preparation and the literature showed the extra effort needed for excellence.

I enjoyed the farm to Table breakfast and my dinner. I had breakfast there twice and Dinner, once. They have hot tea. I dined with a group and we ordered just about everything they had. It was all very good.

We dined here for our anniversary dinner. Did not stay at the inn. Very cozy atmosphere. Delicious food with generous portions. Had a reservation and were seated right away.
