Having not visited The Wheatsheaf for some time we decided to go for lunch. I was a little surprised when we arrived because the car park was virtually empty. It used to be a problem parking. However, we went in to find very few customers....More

Great food and atmosphere made even better by the fantastic service by the only girl on shift this evening. The sun was out so it made the Wheatsheaf busier than normal on a Tuesday. This didn't phase her at all, we will be back xx

Booked for 8 of us (4 adults & 4 children). Sat in the gorgeous beer garden, peaceful setting. The meal was amazing and massive portions! Ashley and Marcus were fantastic as usual! Would highly recommend. The two fathers got a gift too! Bonus!

The service was good and the wine was excellent. However the mushrooms to start were in a gloopy sauce which wasn't very nice and this was followed by lasagne for my husband which was so salty he couldn't eat it. My main was battered haddock...More

Came here for lunch with a friend. We decided to opt for a sandwich which came with chips. It was Ok but think £8 is overpriced. The Bill came to £20 for two drinks and two sandwiches. Don't think we will come again as price...More

The staff there are very helpful & accommodating. If you give them a ring to explain your requirements, I'm sure they will be able to provide an appropriate alternative.
