We visited this popular ilkley bistro for a lunch date and were delightfully greeted with smiles and happiness! The food was absolutely delicious! Now become a weekly visit, and the staff always remember the regulars.

Upon arrival in Ilkley decided to go to our regular Restaurant/cafe time being 11.40 , was told by staff that we could not have a coffee as we had not booked a table , when I showed her 3 empty tables she simply said we...could only have a table if we were having a meal , only one word sums this up , disgusting!More

On arriving at J Reserve we were greeted with a smile , and shown to our table , the waitress brought the menus and explained The Specials Board .The choice of items on the menu certainly caters for all people , when the food arrived...it was of excellent quality , well prepared and presented. The staff were all extremely courteous and obliging through our visit . I will certainly be returning,and would recommend J Reserve , one piece of advice is to make a booking to avoid any disappointment.More

Had an excellent lunch, the Gourmet Burger was probably the tastiest burger I have ever had, I kid you not, the service was fantastic and the staff Chess and Dawn were really professional and friendly. I will visit again. P.s. the Bakewell clafoutis was wonderful.

JReserve is always at the top of me and my friends list when we come to Ilkley. When I ask my friend, where should I book for lunch, without hesitation the answer is always JReserve. The food is delicious and service is always so warm...and friendly. No matter how full we never fail to have room for a slice of one of the delicious cakes on offer. We always end up staying for a couple of hours and enjoy a bottle of prosecco or two :0) lovely indoor and outdoor seating optionsMore

Served by a lovely lady called Dawn. So friendly and very helpful. She made you feel like you had known her for years.

We called here to have a coffee. They provide lunch at this time between 12 till 2 not just coffees , So we decided to have lunch and wow it was Amazing ! I had the courgette and feta risotto and my Husband had the...crab salad ..It was delicious. So what turned out to be just a coffee was an amazing mouthwatering lunch . The staff was so friendly and welcoming too , We will defiantly be returning 😊More

What fantastic customer service! Staff went above and beyond to help with a birthday treat for my friend - wanted to send gift vouchers but couldn’t order online and I don’t live locally so Emily personally organised these and hand delivered to make sure they...made it in time for my friend’s birthday. My friend is beyond delighted with her birthday gift - she’s a regular and I couldn’t have sorted a better gift for her - all thanks to Emily’s excellent customer service.
