A very nice meal with a good selection of food. I had the steak and my wife the lamb , both were very good. The OHAH was crowded but we had a table reserved near the fire. The only pointer was the parking which is limited but we were able to park in a nearby street 5 mins away.

This restaurant is located quiet, quaint West-Country village. The staff were friendly and helpful, but service was very slow. However, the food was exceptionally good. We had a duck, a pork and a liver dish and all three were excellent. Without doubt, the food was good value for money.

We visited this pub on a sat night, we had booked for 8pm, we waited to order but no one came so we went and asked to be told they were waiting to deliver food to another table and then would take our order. It was nearly 8.45 before our order was eventually taken. The starters were very nice when... More

Evening meal for two and a pint of the local brew by the roaring fire. The Devizes butcher who supplies the meats came up trumps with the fine well-hung steak done to a turn. Excellent quality. Maybe not the cheapest we've had but so handy for the accommodation at the rear. Breakfast was just as good by teh way.

Quite simply the food and the dining experience are very very good, We ate at lunchtime and with no exaggeration the food was inspirational. This is not a " run of the mill" gastro pub with microwaved ready meals ( there are far too many of those around !) . The Old House is different with a chef who has... More
