Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked a night away foe valentines day. On arrival everything seems ok but after a close look we was very disappointed. The room wasn't clean. There was cob webs hanging front the ceiling. The emergency pull cord was tied up and couldn't be reach....This was also covered in cob webs. There was a emergency green light in the ceiling which was covered over with a plaster. There was hairs on the bathroom floor. The floors hadn't been sweeped and I got dirty feetMore

Overnight stay & evening meal Pub has very nice atmosphere, cosy & relaxed. Our evening meal of steak & the pork & leek sausages was lovely, dessert was sticky toffee pudding & blueberry Mille - feuille which was new on the menu & tasted fabulous...& great presentation. Again breakfast was tasty with lovely produce. Rooms are everything you need with comfy bed & pillows. Bathroom was great with walk in shower. All very clean! The only one slight negative was the room window with slats needed a curtain as light came in through the night, especially when outside light came out. All the staff have been very friendly & attentive. All in all a wonderful stay , definitely recommend.More

I booked a room for me and my wife to relax and have a nice meal. Ashamed to say this was the worst service I’ve had in a long time. The food was late and cold. The staff are totally disinterested . I ordered my...main and 40 mins later I receive a cold plate and a hard boiled egg on top. This place used to be over and above good what’s happened.More
