The Brewery is a couple of streets back from the Kennet & Avon canal, it is worth the very short walk to avoid the honey pot of bankside pubs. The cider is wonderful, the beer is great, the food is very good and the hospitality...More

This unremarkable looking pub has a fabulous chef! We ate off the specials board and it was so good we arranged our return up the canal so that we could stop there again. Toddler food was fresh, good food. Fish fingers were proper pieces of...More

What can I say, loose running pub dog, friendly enough but found it a bother. Management seems to be a shambles. Many things on the short menu were unavailable. Food over was over cooked and really not very nice

A gang of us were walking the Kennet and Avon Canal and guessed (rightly) that we'd need to book for lunch on a Sunday. The first place we tried couldn't accommodate us but the Brewery (at about the half-way point for that day's walk) could....More
