Eating INSIDE Bruno's is always great. Take out meals can be equally great. Recently, a grandson visited from Heidelberg University with is girl friend and his roommate. So, six of us decided to eat Bruno's spaghetti at home...Got a large tub full of spaghetti and two toppings: Marinara and Alfredo...with huge salad and dressing...and a large loaf of homebaked bread.... I have patronized Bruno's for over 50 years. Food is great. Prices reasonable for the market. You won't be disappointed. I prefer lasagna. Pizza is thin crust, which I usually do not prefer, but I like it here.

A former chef and friend of mine told me that their bread come to them covered in ants. After hearing that, combined with the sub-standard service, you could not pay me to eat here again.

My family has been coming to Bruno's for over 40 years. We are home for the holidays and thought we'd come in for their wonderful lasagna. We decide to sit in the bar. There is a sign Happy Hour 4-6 pm as you walk up the steps. We are informed that there is no Happy Hour in this bar... why... More

My wife and I hadn't been here in 30 years because of a move...it was like opening a time capsule when we had the chance to return. We had the stuffed banana peppers for an appetizer. Hot but delicious. I had the ravioli and she had the gnocchi. With our salad and the generous portions we had no room for... More

We ate dinner here. We had salmon and stuffed flounder. Both were excellent. Our server was very attentive. The inside is nice. The outside looks a little run down but don't let appearances fool you. It was very full.

If you are looking for outstanding Italian food in a simple setting, this 70 year old establishment might be the place for you. Six of us ate there - all were delighted. Best lasagna I have had (and at 75 I've had a lot). Surroundings are ordinary - food is not. You won't be disappointed.

I grew up in Indiana and love to go back to Bruno's when I visit. We were there for diner last week. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. Fresh bread and salad come out first. I had the manicotti and it was hot and very good! I would highly recommend dining here. I prefer the atmosphere in the basement but... More

Nothing to write home about. The food is average. The manicottis are good. I'm just not a huge fan of their red sauce, but that's because I was spoiled with an Italian grandma who cooked. The better atmosphere is downstairs.

I remember first going to Bruno's about 30 years ago when I was in college. I always liked their meat ravioli, which is home made. I last had it about 7 years ago and wanted to try it again. While the ravioli tasted as good as always, most of our food came out luke warm, at best. There were five... More
