We stopped at a nearby campsite and popped to the lock twice. Food was lovely and we got to witness a boat going through too. Although from Birmingham I don't think I've ever seen a boat go through a lock!!! Would recommend, only downside was...More

Fantastic place. It is a little small which makes it so cosy and friendly. It is highly recommended you book a table because of the size. There were a couple of blunders but the staff couldn't do anymore than what they did to solve the...More

Very tasty food and helpful barmaid! Fantastic scenic location that appears to be popular with the locals. The food took a little while to come, but as it was a sunny afternoon it may have been busier than usual... If you like your burgers it's...More

After a drive down from Scotland and then putting up tent on nearby site it was just what we needed - someone else doing the cooking! We sat outside with our dog and our table was literally over a small fence from the canal. My...More

A friendly village pub located on the picturesque Staffs and Worcestershire canal. Our aim is to serve good homecooked food using locally sourced ingredients. All our beef comes from the Bishop family farm located less than a mile away on Blakeshall lane.
