GF bread is available. In particular the pavilion eggs were very good! The are quite good with making breakfast substitutions so vegetarian options are available. No vegan options out rightly available. Pleasing atmosphere inside and outside. The upstairs balcony, when it is available, is nice on a summers evening. Good for evening drinks and brunch, but I haven't tried the... More

Had dinner last night at The Pavilion with 3 friends (one of whom had been previously and recommended it) and I was really impressed with the staff, the food and the restaurant itself. We were shown to a table in the bar area by a lovely young waiter and ordered cocktails whilst we chose our food. I decided on the... More

Called here for a meet after work with work colleagues. Not the friendliest of staff served us. However everyone can have a bad day. Food was good. We had the warm salad, it was very nice. Only issue this is the 2nd time we have been mid week and we have had to ask about the 20% discount - once... More

Visited here a few times. Great location and very nicely decorated but that's it. Front of house has been frosty/short on both occasions. First time with my husband in the restaurant and second time with two friends for afternoon snacks. Food is just ok and nothing to rave about. So overprioced for what it is. Eating out is a treat... Had a fabulous meal last night at the Pavilion. My friends came from Glossop for the evening and had not eaten there before. Everything was perfect - food, service, staff, ambience. I was delighted that my friends were so impressed and said the meal was as good as any they had ever had! (and we're all pensioners!). So refreshing to... More

The service and friendly atmosphere is only second to the quality of the food. The breakfast menu offers a lot of choice for veggies and the bacon butty that the person at the next table had almost converted back to a meat eater....

Lovely place, staff friendly and helpful. Food good with the exception of the Sunday roast. Only one option chicken so went with that. A very insipid looking plate came out pale roast potatoes white chicken and a Yorkshire. Didn't look very appealing. (Presentation is as important as fast) Then came the veg mashed carrot and swede which was ok but... More

The atmosphere and decor is excellent. I was with a group of eleven people and because I had to park at the rear was the last to the table. I was asked immediately what I wanted to order when I said I have not read the menu the waitress stood behind me waiting impatiently so I made a rush decision.We... More
