We've called in here several times when we've stayed on the adjoining campsite. It's a lovely old 'country pub', really cosy. Staff are friendly and well behaved dogs are welcomed with open arms. The food is amazing. Traditional pub food, substantial portions but definitely not...More

It is such a pleasant change to go out for a meal and be able to choose from a menu where you don't need to be a masterchef contestant to know what has been cooked. So, good food, well cooked, decent portion sizes. Put all...More

Pub grub, not exceptional, but tasty. Dog friendly. Excellent service although busy. Went on a Friday Evening, visit only marred by bad behaviour of some feral children on the next table and we left early because of this.

Staff couldn't be more helpful. Great selection of beers and ciders. We had booked a table for ten and were served very swiftly with great food. The pies are great and the Cumberland ring is huge. Couldn't recommend it more. Thank you
