1st visit exquisite food excellent service good looking staff so enjoyed the evening wine very good quality well looked after I will be back thank you for a good night
Don’t have the risotto..chef obviously cannot cook that…otherwise fairly average but not reflected in the prices. My advice….be select in what you choose off the menu.
Sons 13th birthday and this was his restaurant choice as it never disappoints, looked after from the moment we walked through the door, food and service as always was amazing, goes without saying we will definitely be going again, thank you everyone at l'aquila a...proper family run independent restaurant.More
The food is really good - and the service is excellent. Love going there. I have recommended it to most of my friends
A favourite of ours, have been many times. Food, service and ambience are all great and the prices are reasonable. Recommend!
The first course is well nice food 10/10 amazing the dessert was the best part of the whole meal, best dessert ever !!!!! I rate this place a 100/10 the best by TJ Thomas J (age 8) We had a fantastic evening. We were out...celebrating a birthday and the staff at the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy, adults and children of various ages. The service was impeccable and food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all and will definitely be returning. Many thanks to all at La’Quila for making our evening so special xMore
Went here to celebrate my mum's birthday, food was excellent, staff were excellent and very friendly. The only let down was that they had run out of an Italian brandy my husband wanted. Would definitely recommend and we will be back so get that brandy...in!More
It is very rare that you have the table for the evening, booked for 7, had it until we left at 10.00pm. You are not rushed here. Attentive staff who know the right time to check on you. Food absolutely delicious. Do not usually go...out for Italian as they are usually very average. But will definitely visit here again, already planning my next visit with family this time. Just one critique, some of the seats are too big for the tables so had to have one leg either side of the legs which isn't ideal, but had a bar for me to put my feet on, so that helped. Overall, a lovely clean restaurant with great food and friendly staff.More
Went with family of 40 and food and service was fantastic not one complaint from any of my family which is a miracle in itself can't rate this restaurant high enough best Italian in Manchester

Celebrated my wife's 40th birthday in the private room upstairs, there was 30 of us in total and everyone really enjoyed the night, the food all came out together and was really hot, no complaints from anyone, it was all delicious. A special thanks to...both Ed and Kev and also to all the staff who looked after us on the night, really could not do enough they were all amazing, so once again thank you for helping make my wife's 40th a night to remember with all her family and friends. We have been here many times before and will definitely be visiting many times in the future, first glass service and food at a reasonable price.More
We hosted my sister’s Baby Shower over the weekend at L’Aquila. We had a private dining room and there were 27 of us in total. The room was lovely and available to us to set up a few hours earlier. The service was amazing, all...of the staff couldn’t do enough for us. And the food was amazing, all came out at the same time and was hot. We had a set menu but there were plenty of options. I would definitely recommend L’Aquila and we can’t wait to go back in two weeks for one of our friend’s Baby Shower’s.More
Lovely food and service. Disappointing that our table was booked for 3pm and doors opened at 3pm on the dot. Just felt it should have opened at least 15 min before the booking.
Restaurant looks amazing. Tastefully furnished & spotlessly clean. Service was excellent and we were well looked after. Duck was the best I have ever tasted. You must eat here, you won’t be disappointed
