Gorgeous fish! Always lovely food, great service. Try the sea bass 😋 !!! The restaurant is directly behind a fresh fish shop - it’s hard to leave without a purchase of fish 🐠

Me and hubby ordered Oysters, Mussels and Tiger Prawns to share. All delicious. The restaurant has a relaxed ambience with staff who are friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our lunch and would highly recommend for a treat occasion (this treat was for my husband...for doing the decorating). I'm dieting but still was able to keep my calories count down. I eyed up the fish and chips that were a popular dish being ordered by my fellow diners - looked stunning as did the desserts I spotted on the way out. I'll have these next time I go.More
Went here for a meal with a friend I’ve not seen for ages and it did not disappoint. Every dish was delicious, we couldnt decide on a dessert so asked for a taste of them all and we were glad we did. The presentation and...taste of all the dishes was amazing. Service was excellent too, staff were very attentive and friendly and they clearly all knew what they were doing. It’s an open kitchen and a nice cosy restaurant so the atmosphere was really good as well. I will definitely return.More
Good solid local restaurant. Service was friendly and relaxed. Food was good, the menu looked excellent and i struggled to choose!. Everyone liked their mains and portion sizes where good. The Greek yoghurt pannacotta pudding was just awesome. Wine list small but good. It's not...the cheapest local restaurant but it was very nice, and we'll be going againMore
This restaurant has always been amazing and over the last 7 years I have been a regular customer here. I have to say that the food on Friday evening was not at the same standard as usual. We did not complain because there was nothing...really to complain about - we just felt that it was not to the same usual standard and my hake was definitely over cooked. Hopefully its just a blip!More
Dinner out as a family to celebrate my new job. The food was fantastic as always and the service was exceptional. You made my son's week when got to meet the chefs, we even got a lie in!
First class food in a great setting. When we first tried this place many years ago we were surprised it is behind the fish shop. But what better place to be. The setting is ideal and the restaurant is very nice, clean and well laid...out with a small open kitchen so you can see your food being cooked and hear what they are saying. No Gordon Ramsey here thankfully !. I had smoked haddock croquettes for a starter and they were really enjoyable - will definitely order again. I had the John Dory with prawns and mussels in a lobster bisque for main - this was my first taste of John Dory but it won’t be my last it was so good. It came with saffron infused potatoes which I enjoyed but would not rave about. There was also broccoli which was perfectly cooked and not limp and soggy. Great venu with great food and great service.More
Welcome warm and food always exceptionally good, even at 4.30 on a wet Thursday on the way home from work. Two starters and two side vegitable dishes - perfect - I'm hooked!
First time visiting this place and would definitely go back. Solid options for people who don’t like “fishy” fish. Nice variety of dishes. Main course portions were very generous. Only downside was one of the fishes came with a meat sauce which wasn’t ideal for...pescatarians. Staff very friendly and helpful.More
Still the best restaurant in the Moor by some margin. We enjoyed a sharing platter which was just the right amount of food for 2 and beautifully presented.
Absolutely outstanding yet again this afternoon. Thanks to all from Colin. The guy with the walking stick. Will continue to visit
On the spur of the moment we popped in on Saturday night. The food was fantastic, the staff were excellent and it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning.
We stumbled across this place and they just so happened to have a table for two on a Friday night (from what I gather, this is quite unusual). I’m so glad we managed to get a table this last minute! The food was superb. To...start we got some Oysters which were full of flavour. For the main, we got the Seafood Sharer which consisted of half a lobster, king prawns, garlic bread and mussels… there wasn’t a single thing on there that wasn’t delicious. I highly recommend getting a sharing platter as it’s a good way to try a few things in one go. This platter is particularly great if you’re dining with someone who isn’t keen on very “fishy” fish. We got a glass of the Pinot Noir each which I realise, isn’t the norm for pairing with fish but it was absolutely lovely and was actually okay in combination with the food. Service was fine! Absolutely zero complaints about this and would happily come back.More
Have visited on several occasions and highly recommended fresh seafood. All cooked to perfection with a limited but good wine list
Excellent fabulous purchase of fresh fish, next time will certainly go into restaurant , I wish they’d become a fishmonger where I live overall superb
