You'll be hard put to find a more cozy and friendly place to sample and drink good beer in Manchester-Stockport area. Low profile place with focus on quality. Sunshine on the pavement tables in the afternoon tops off the experience.

Gosh this place gets busy. For a specialist beer venue it has a strangely family atmosphere. I am drinking Trappist Rochefort 11.3% My brother Crex by the pint. It's a shame there are no longer any pubs to go to but the breweries did that....More

Excellent and imaginative range of beers in an improbable looking location .. former butcher's shop I think ..... actually feels quite un-English in the way that customers will actually talk to one another, often share tables, excellent music, wonderful host in Dean ..... and brilliant...More
I have been here a few times over the last couple of years as they have a good range of beers. The choice of cask ales is a bit limited but the range of bottles/cans is excellent. You can take away cask ale in various...More
