I am a regular at this Indian and I have been for as long as I can remember. 100% the best Indian in Barnsley. You cannot complain about the price, the quality of food, and how you are treated by the staff from when you...arrive to when you leave. I have been a regular to this restaurant and absolutely love it. I took two of my work colleagues on Tuesday night as I had raved about this place so much. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. One of my colleagues...said the Tandoori mixed grill was the best he had ever had. Now that is an accolade. Well done chaps keep it up.More

We ordered at 1.30pm online with the website (not on just east), and ordered for delivery 7.45pm, 8.05pm still had not arrived so I called customer service awful, took him 5 mins to find the order and said its out with the driver. 8.30pm still...not arrived, thought the food must have been coming from Bradford!!!! , so i called again, spoke to someone different, who took about ages again to find my order and again the same message with the driver... explained that what I got told 20 mins ago!!!!! finally the food arrived 60 mins late and was luke warm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Obviously if you eat in the service and food must be ok but the delivery side of it is awful - food 1 hour late ....... if i had not called then I do not think we would have any food because I do not think anyone runs the online service who knows how to process orders as I think when I called 1st time that's when they started to cook........ We visited last Tuesday with some friends.Ive used the restaurant for takeaways in the past but I've never dined in. We were greeted by friendly staff and nothing was too much for them.I asked for something that is never on the menu and they were...only too happy to oblige and I have yo say, it was probably the nicest Keema Vindaloo I've ever had. We shared the mix grill starter for 4 between 5 of us,and there was more than plenty,I highly recommend this dish. Fish masala,l chops,seekh Kebab,Chicken pakora,chicken wings on a sizzling plat ter on a bed of onions with a large jug of raita,I could have juste eaten that!!!! My wife's No 1 choice for food is always Italian, but I love a curry, and even she said she can't wait to go back. I only live locally, and I will definitely dine again and highly recommend this restaurant. Our friends travelled from Bournemouth and said its one of the nicest they've had. The best Indian food anywhere in South Yorkshire and we've tried a lot! Absolutely delicious, the fish was excellent and everything we tried was outstanding. Already booked in for the Sunday buffet and this is now our number 1 restaurant for dine in and take...away. One of our daughters has a nut allergy and the staff were brilliant reassuring us what she could have.
