This is the second time visiting the fat duck, the first was in early 2020 and it was absolutely amazing. Our next visit we decided to bring clients for that wow factor but it turned out to be one of the most embarrassing awful nights...More
The Fat Duck is one of the world’s most iconic restaurants and should be visited by all who have a passion for gastronomy, even if it is just once in their lifetime. Though it has been established for 25 years, which doesn’t seem too much...More
I can't believe this place has any negative reviews - it was wonderful in every possible way. I guess you really can't please some people.
The food was amazing, every bite magical.

We could not have been more disappointed with our visit to the Fat Duck. Some restaurants that are celebrating their 25th anniversary are doing so because they have moved with the times and continue to delight their guests year after year. To us, it felt...More
This is a once in a life time experience for many. Luckily I tend to have these experiences often and The Fat Duck is one of my favourite places. The food is always exquisite. I cannot recommend one dish as I love them all, the...More

Don't know about the fat duck, but "ate" in one of his places in Plymouth, after a 4 hour wait at the table, we were finally served some very ordinary roast beef, 2 roast potato's and overcooked veg. Their excuse? "oh, we thought you only wanted a snack", because we had young children with us and had to order some chips, cheese on toast etc to keep them happy. This was a party of 8, by the way. Absolute rubbish, if i had not been a guest i would not have paid a penny. Then again, going to a place where they put snails in porridge, what do you expect? personally, although i have never met him in person, i have always thought that Heston blumental whatever was a f*&%*&g idiot.
