Found this cafe by accident on day trip to Brid. I am a coeliac and had chicken pie. My wife had soup with normal bread. Most of the food is home made. Great find. Lovely mince pie's Thank you

Obviously a mecca for coeliacs from miles around. Savouries were delicious with well cooked and nutritious fare. However I was a little disappointed with their cakes which tasted dry (perhaps a little old) and far too sweet for me. Would have been fabulous at the more genteel end of Bridlington, but right next to the amusements was rather incongruous.

Saw good reviews for this cafe so gave it a try today. Well worth the effort. My wife had gluten free pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and with a stack of five(!) pancakes couldn't even finish them. I had the herby mushrooms on crusty rolls which was excellent. Dog friendly too, with the waitress bringing a bowl of water... More

Myself and my family visited the Wish Cat Cafe on Saturday following a quick search on the net for gluten free eateries in Bridlington. As a coeliac I was amazed and delighted by the response to "can you cater for coeliacs?", which was "Yes, everything can be modified!" WOW! How often does that happen? Anyway, the 4 adults all had... Arrived just as they were closing but the owner very kindly allowed us to order food when I explained I was coeliac and had come specially (delayed in traffic ) . I had the most amazing bowl of homemade mushroom soup and my friends had the quiche and the goats cheese tart which they absolutely loved. Best coffee I've had... More

We came as a family. The quiches and salads were lovely. Great to have gluten free options. There seemed to be at least 3 young staff 1 at least did not look as if they knew what they were doing. So not that friendly small cafe feeling we thought there would be. Unfortunately the gluten free scones was very hard... More

It must have been an off day if the scones were hard, unless someone prepared the wrong ones. They are a favourite with our customers and usually sell out very quickly. Come again and you will get 3 fresh, soft gluten free scones on the house. We only have 2 staff members under the age of 18 both of whom... More

Great cafe offering fresh food and good options. Lovely crockery and atmosphere and an oasis of calm in the bustling area near the fair ground at the sea front. We arrived as part of the large party you had who sat outside and we waited an hour for quiche and salad and a pasta dish as well as all the... More

Oh I'm very disappointed you thought we were only worth 3 stars due to the wait for your food. As a small establishment on a very busy day I felt we did well to cater for your party of 10 although it did take a long time for all the orders to be decided and there were a couple of... More

Visited the cafe the other week. The food was great! Gluten free and tasted fantastic! Reasonably priced and the decor is very oldy worldy which was a nice touch. Only issue we had was we got to bridlington at quarter past one and by quarter past three we were having to rush back to the car... The turn around between... More

Thank you for your kind review but I'm sorry for your wait. It can take a bit longer during busy times especially if we have had a large party arrive. I do cook everything fresh to order and although everything on the menu is available gluten free we do also offer bread and sandwiches non-gluten-free so it means the preparation... More
