Delicious but it’s not fast food

We finally managed to get a table at this very popular restaurant & they were packed. A very hospitable maitre d/ proprietor & 3 young, very hard working waitresses ran the front of house. The food was really fresh & flavoursome & there was plenty of it- soft shell crab tempura, duck spring rolls, Thai crackers, local crab in Thai yellow curry & Thai style beef with chilies. The Thai Singha in frozen glasses were very welcome. The only disappointment was the very long wait between the starter & main, almost an hour & one of the waitresses did spot this & reassured we were next to be served. Would we go again? Yes, the food is worth a wait & the meal was excellent value for money.

First visit but not the last

This was our first visit and one we shall visit again when next in Bridlington. The food was lovely, well presented ,tasty and served in dishes which meant the food stayed hot, something that can be overlooked in other restaurants. The service was good and the young waitress was very helpful. It is very popular so pre booking is necessary and you need to note the opening times as it is only open at the end of the week. Overall a really enjoyable meal. Highly recommended

Expensive and not for the hungry!

Lovely place with amenable staff; I think the owner seated us and we didn't have a reservationuntil an hour before. Place was almost packed and we were told we only had an hour and a half due to late reservation, but that was plenty of time for us and it was nice of them to inform us just in case. Food was really good, albeit on the very spicy side and really small portions. That was the biggest disappointment as the price did not reflect good value, especially since when I went to the toilet I could see the stock cupboard of jars and bottles of sauces, which surprised me because it seemed very fresh. You could see the kitchen staff were very experienced and all in Al it was a nice experience.

Disappointing

I found this Thai restaurant below par and not an authentic Thai experience. The food was only average compared to other Thai restaurants I have visited over the years. There was none of the usual welcome and food presentation that you could expect from a good Thai restaurant. Front of house was not always visible and customers had to wait for a while before they were welcomed and seated. We watched a couple leave rather than wait to be dealt with. I can not quite believe the good reviews and wonder if they were visiting the same restaurant I visited.

Amazing food

We visit here regularly, the friendly service from their close nit team is so welcoming & attentive. The food is the closest we have found that replicates authentic Thai here in the uk. It’s always fresh nice and hot and very flavourful. Koo is a great chef the ribs she serves up for starters never fails. Tim front of house really looks after everyone making sure everything is spot on Just give it a try but I recommend you book in advance 😊

Nice but not blown away

Went for a celebratory meal but left feeling somewhat wanting more and taken advantage of . The meals were acceptable portion size compared to other Thais I have been to were small . Whilst the food was nice nothing blew me away or my friends. The restaurant was quite cold maybe due to heating costs ?? But the main end to the evening was the calypso coffee at £7.75 each ! This was very disappointing end to our night out . Whilst prices clearly shown we wanted an end a desert but nothing really stood out . Sorry about this review but left underwhelmed.

First visit and oh wow, have I been missing out on good food !!!

There is something special about Thai food and I mean special in a very good way. I was told it was advisable to book, I did and when I arrived a little early it was apparent why. Every table was full and most of the customers were local. We were greeted by the manager/owner, a delightful gentleman who was apologising as there might be a 10 minute wait ... absolutely no problem whatsoever. As busy as they were he still found time to chat and even though he was the "boss man", he was very much hands on and helping. The two waitresses were outstanding, we found the whole ambience perfect. Even the locals had time to talk and suggest dishes but to be perfectly honest, the food was that good I doubt you could make a wrong choice. Even though they were totally full, there was no silly wait for food either the starters or the main course and suffice to say, there was nothing and I mean nothing left on either plate. The plates were piping hot and we could not have wished for anything different. A busy restaurant says a lot about the venue and even more so when the majority of diners were local. Definitely will be returning and bringing friends. A fantastic evening out, delicious meal, friendly service, decent local diners - what more is there to ask for ! Thanks, SteveB

Beautiful Thai Cooking

We booked well in advance to secure an early table which needed to be vacated at a set time, as did all tables. A very good system imo. We had delicious tasty food all served hot and freshly cooked. The restaurant was clean and tidy. It is a small restaurant and I’m glad we were not a four as the tables are quite small. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back next time we are in Bridlington.

Weekend away and stumbled on this Gem of a place !

Stumbled on this restaurant after searching for a place to eat for gluten free due to a weekend in Bridlington . They have dedicated menu for gluten free. Phoned ahead and the owner was a lovely man and just managed to squeeze us in (couple of 2)due to a last minute cancellation. Advise to book ahead as if was very busy . We were greeted and shown to our table - very popular with locals It had a lovely ambience and traditional Thai decor - the food was delicious starters and main. Would definitely recommend as all dishes looked delightful but definitely a must for gluten free - thank you so much and all the best ! We will definitely visit again if in the area and recommend your restaurant.

A must for all Thai food eaters

Unfortunately we didn’t book a table here as we thought a table for 2 walk in would be ok, it was just about, but that is where the negativity stops! Upon arrival we were told they were short staffed so the service might be slow tonight, it was not! If this was bad service then I can’t wait to return on a good service night. There is a good choice of food that was cooked to perfection and very very tasty, we both tried some new dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them. We were served by staff and manager there who’s knowledge of all the dishes were perfect, even of the best ways to eat them to get maximum flavour once our food was brought out. The food and drinks all came within a timely manner and we were not left waiting between dishes (even as they were short staffed). I cannot recommend this place enough, feel like it should be a must for all those Thai food eaters visiting Bridlington!

We are probably spoilt for Thai restaurants in Leeds and Birmingham, we found the restaurant good but not excellent. We booked and arrived 15mins early, our table was ready for us. Drinks were ordered and served quickly. I found the menu extensive but based on a commonly core set of ingredients that I suspect were ready. So the scope of dishes were restricted to the additional items such as prawns, beef, chicken, duck. The gluten free menu may of presented more scope. That said, the food was served quickly, was hot and tasted good. The staff were excellent.

One of my favourite restaurants in the world❤️

This wonderful little gem of a restaurant just ticks every box….❤️ the restaurant itself, the food, ambience and service all just first class. This is hospitality done exceptionally well. I have eaten here a a few times now and it has always amazed me how my expectations are exceeded every time I come. Of note❤️ The crab curry is another level. But all the cooking is sublime. It’s no wonder it is always busy. It is held together by a wonderful maitre d who could teach a lot of people in our industry… How it should be done… I don’t think you need me to sing your praises. You guys do that on your own. I can’t wait to visit next year. Chef🌻❤️x

A few days break

Me and my partner were away for a few days and had chosen this restaurant from the reviews on trip advisor. We booked a table for 6pm and by 6:30pm the restaurant was full. You can have the table for 2hrs. The menu is great and caters for all needs. The atmosphere, staff and service are fantastic, our food was out quickly and did not disappoint one bit. The flavours were fantastic. We would definitely visit again.

Our first visit to Supattra

Our first visit to restaurant. Greeted by very friendly owner and taken to table Helped with wine which was very good Food order was taken and delivered by young lovely girls who served us very well and made our visit enjoyable. The young girl Sho was especially a delight and top it all the food was excellent. Recommend a visit you wont be disappointed.

Superb Thai.

Been here several times and tried different meals on every occasion. The presentation and taste of the food is superb and it is served piping hot. The staff are very courteous and friendly and the prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend
