Didn’t have a great experience as a group. We booked to have their unlimited meal menu. We were outrightly denied that as (rule 1) it isn’t offered to group bookings. Ok, we were given a choice between a la carte or set menu. We went...ahead with the set menu. No written set menu anywhere but the manager’s mouth. The menu consisted of two veg and two non-veg starters, two veg and one non-veg main with rice and noodles all for £25. Sounded great! The problem (rule 2) was though our group had 4 vegetarians and we were informed no replacements for the non-veg items given for the vegetarians and will be charged the same £25. That seemed quite unfair but the manager was stuck to it. The fun (rule 3, 4, 5, …….) began once we started to choose the menu to let us know a lot of items that can’t be done. Food started to arrive quite quickly and it tasted good. There were a lot of leftovers which when we asked to pack was told that’s not possible (another rule). One of the staffs told us it would be a food for the staff. We left wondering - if we wouldn’t have arrived as a group and ordered the set menu, would the staff go hungry 🤔 - the manchurians were harder than normal felt like fried more than twice! Were there more group bookings in the day or day before and staff couldn’t finish that all? The moment this thought appeared, we couldn’t relish the food anymore - even if the left over food was binned, that didn’t sound right too Sadly, not a place I would recommend. They didn’t try their best to give us a good experience instead tried their best to indicate we were meant to accept what they give us. It was too late for us to find another place. So we carried on. We went there a few years ago before the refurbishment and had a very good experience. We didn’t have the same this time. The mains weren’t as good either. The overall experience wasn’t nice!More

Lunch time visit on a Friday. Restaurant was clean and had a welcoming feeling. Adrian explained the unlimited menu and gave us time to decide if we wanted lunch there without any hard sell. The food was good and the portions plentiful. There is no...need to order a table full at one time. Take your time and order as and when needed. The wait time was a little on the long side but bear in mind the food is cooked to order and I’d rather it cooked fresh than batch cooked so the wait wasn’t an issue. It was my husband’s birthday and Adrian made a lovely gesture of a piece of cake with a candle. Definitely worth a visit and for the cost for unlimited food you can’t go wrong. Absolutely appalling service. We came with my family.Just 2 members of staff to be seen. Waiting times after ordering food was 35 min plus as they were busy preparing for takeaway orders. Had to pay for parking twice. Soup wasn't accompanied with soy sauce or...vinegar..we had to keep asking for things. Had to ask for water 3 times before we were given a jug. Lovely food and generous size portions too. Service was great with the staff being brilliant on advising on the food. There was also a magician on hand.
