I never visited Panas originally but then it changed ownership but came back?! Anyway one cold evening my friend fancied Indian food and this place was on Fork on offer so we thought why not?! Probably one of the best decisions we made. It was Thursday not too busy but I'm guessing people were in Teddington for the lights up event. Anyway the service was second to none absolutely friendly and attentive..we were given these amazing amuse bouche of pani puri, paneer and chicken absolutely a song a true explosion of flavours so we were excited for the mains. As this is primarily a Nepalese restaurant we thought we'd opt for their traditional dishes specific to their region so we had the lamb shank (gorgeous melt in mouth full of flavour), sides of bhindi and traditional Nepalese lentils (both outstanding) it was evident that the food was freshly prepared as each dish tasted fresh and unique we were even given a mango sorbet palate cleanser which in itself was an event. This restaurant has made it to one of my favourite Asian restaurants so glad it's near me. Can't wait to go back, service, food and value for money is excellent..hope this time they stay for good! Our finished plates says it all!

It was our anniversary and we did not know where to go, so we stumbled across Panas and decided to give it a try. The staff were welcoming and attentive,. Food was excellent though my wife found her starter sauce too Hot but the waiters were so helpful offering an alternative sause. Price reasonable, portions larger than most great value for money Definitely will go back and recommend for a good meal out.😀

After our disappointing meal the night before at tandoori restaurant up the road on previous night this was a very welcome contrast, would have awarded more stars if I could. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was full of flavour and very well cooked, probably the best curry I've had even in India and Pakistan. Sadly we don't live in the area, but if we visit again this will definitely be top of the list for dinner.

We came here on game day and it was clear the menu was altered and the prices were raised to make more money.. which in fairness is okay.. I understand they want to make a biggger mark up. BUT the options were firstly not great, only one prawn curry available and the waitress didn’t understand what I meant when I said.. make it spicy. The prawn curry was £18 (just for the curry) and when it came.. there were 2 king prawns in the whole dish.. not good. The sauce tasted like a tomato pasta sauce.. barely of any curry flavour The service was shocking.. no one brought over any drinks, no one asked us if we wanted to order food. When the bill came they doubled up on our starters and tried to charge us double. Overall, not a great experience. Our friends who live locally said this was a great place curry house normally, but clearly its ruined on game days by outrageous prices and new staff.

Amazing food, really good service, reasonable prices and a beautiful restaurant. They have the usual Indian dishes but also a range of Nepalese specialities. They are happy to adapt dishes and to give advice. This is such a good restaurant that is 2 minutes walk from the main restaurant road in Twickenham that people miss it.

I heard this curry house was good but it wasn't sure until I visited last Thursday. Nine of us (of various ages) had an enjoyable get together curry at this little known curry house in Twickenham. The food is superb and the service is excellent and very attentive. We enjoyed the extra's we weren't expecting. I won't spoil the surprise. I ordered the vegetable biriyani and it came with 3 sauces and covered with a bread, presentation is good and the food was tasty. The drinks are served in very pretty ornate glasses. The portions are generous and I took food home and had it for lunch the next day. I'm going back in a few weeks time for my birthday. There were a lot of takeaways happening and I'm sure I will be ordering mine from here now too!

We visited Panas on a Friday evening and were a little worried that the restaurant was so quiet - we needn't have been. We were in a group of two couples and we had a nice table by the window. We came as we wanted to enjoy the Nepalese food. Wow. We ordered two large popadom baskets with chutneys to keep us going whilst we chose our courses. We went for starters and main courses with a few vegetable side dishes. The food was excellent, well seasoned and in very generous portions but unlike some places, the curries and sides were not swimming in sauce. I started with chicken Momo (little dumplings) with a spicy dipping sauce and then enjoyed the speciality of the house Panas monkfish with large pieces of monkfish - the Panas lamb main course also had large chunks of succulent lamb. Side dishes of aubergine and also Aloo Gobi were very good. One bowl of rice was more than enough for two people. In between courses we were given some little taster 'puris' which were delicious. The two people looking after our table were very friendly, patient when we took our time ordering and managed to give us just the right time between courses, enough to recover but not too long we got hungry! We are the last to leave and the bill at the end was a pleasant surprise as well. This is a very good Nepalise and Indian restaurant but the prices somehow remain very reasonable. We will definitely be back - thank you.

This is fast becoming our favourite restaurant and I’m amazed this restaurant is not packed every day. It is a few minutes walk from the main area so maybe that is why? It is well worth the few extra minutes to get there. The restaurant serve great, tasty food with large portions and free tasters between courses. The menu includes the usual Indian meals but also Nepalese dishes and the staff are very happy to describe and explain the more unusual dishes. The drinks are very reasonably priced and the service and attention are excellent. The decor is modern and the restaurant is very clean. It is great value for money and they also do a whole range of additional offers. I will definitely be going back!

Visited a couple of weekends ago. Have been here before. Again the service was spot on. Suresh (manager) was very attentive and knowledgable about the dishes, gave excellent service. Inbetween courses, little complimentary treats which work very well with the food and showcases the skill of the chef/variety of the menu. Meal not rushed at all, restaurant is clean and has a nice ambiance. We spoke to the owner who is very passionate about his restaurant and it shows in the food the chef is producing. Really lovely experience and would recommend NB/restaurant is better now than before and better also than when it was the intercontinental restaurant.

The heat levels in the menu are to be ignored the one chilli (medium) lamb starter was hotter than a vindaloo. I couldn't eat it all as it was so hot. The no chilli Biryani was said to be mild by the waiter. My wife could not eat it and when I tried I would call it a medium to hot meal

We love Panas. We eat out at Panas or have deliveries often. The food and the service whether in the restaurant or home delivery is always great. Fresh, Delicious. Interesting Flavours that are a little different to the regular Indian. We love it more than the traditional Indian. I particularly love the HOT Lamb Curry. The portions are generous. Very Affordable. The people that run it are always lovely and happy to serve. Best food in Twickenham.

A lovely restaurant with gorgeous, flavourful food and excellent service. The staff were so attentive and the food was out of this world. Huge compliments to the chef on a wonderful menu. He really knows his flavours and it is without a doubt the best curry we’ve ever had. We have been telling all our friends and family what a lovely restaurant it is. Don’t be put off it it looks empty, they have recently changed back to Nepalese/Indian and I’m sure business will pick up again as the food and service is amazing. This restaurant deserves to do so well. I’ve already booked to go back.

Having driven past and spotted this restaurant we decided to give it a go on a Friday evening. I’m glad we did. The food and service were excellent! We tried a couple of mains from the Chef’s Signature Dishes in the Nepalese section. The Gurkhali chicken was delicious but our favourite was the Panas lamb which was stunning and melted in the mouth. The service was friendly and efficient and we thought the bill was incredibly good value. Would highly recommend and we have already booked to go back!

Poppadoms lacking lime pickle. The rogan Josh has almost as much oil as Saudi Arabia. Korma bang average at best. Everest beer is nice and novel as you don’t see it everywhere. Cocktails massively expensive. Garlic naan might as well have been a naan - 0 flavour - 0 garlic.

A local gem, 5 mins from the station We have been to many curry houses in Twickenham over the years and this exceeded all expectations . Nepalese cuisine - more aromatic , less oily - and delicious . Great service from Suresh. Very good value . Can’t recommend highly enough.
