Best Cornish pastie we’ve ever had, fresh, hot and not dry. We went early in morning around 10.30am so maybe worth going early, had a flakey chicken and steak , highly recommend

Having eaten many pasties whilst on holiday in Cornwall, my daughter and myself have rated these pasties as the best we've eaten from a local chain. You have a choice off flaky or shortcrust pastry (flaky was our choice) and they do veggie options too....Proper chunks of meat in the steak pasties make them a really good bite, unlike others that give you just a smidging of meat flavour without the texture to follow! All in all, a fab pasty! Only thing that let them down was the way we where greated on the door! Helston, you can get more than 2 people through the door!! We all understand covid! 🙂More

Got to be the worst chicken pasty I have ever eaten ,basically it was dry chicken and veg ,none of the sauce you normally get in one ,gross won't buy there again

Highly disappointed to be berated by a staff member for paying cash after being told the day before cash is fine as long as I pay with exact change. Not everyone can pay by card (eg: homeless people) and legally, if cash is refused patrons...are allowed to take the products purchased without paying. The pandemic hysteria has gone too far, there is no more danger in using cash than usual and I really hope the Cornish Oven realise that soon. If the staff were truly worried they would be wearing masks and gloves at all times, but as they were not I can assume that isn’t the case. No problem with the pasties though, they were delicious as always. I, however, won’t be returning until they take cash normally again.More

Go early for large pasties. Good selection of pasties drinks and pastries. Worth a visit. Modern premises on the main road.Large car park on the main road.

Had a bad experience here a few weeks ago with female assistant, my daughter popped in yesterday, same problem, rude and aggressive woman. This seems to be a thread that is running through your reviews. Same woman every time? Needs to be dealt with then...the shop would be a much nicer place to visit. We can’t all be wrong.More

We absolutely love coming to the Helston shop and being greeted by the loveliest ladies! They provide the best customer service; welcoming and smiley. Would recommend the shop and the food to anyone!

A regular in the Helston shop and ladies there are always happy and chatty, even through the recent times no change in behaviour, can’t beat the chicken pasties

The pasties were delicious, shame about the staff. They were extremely rude, so much so I nearly walked out without buying anythingMore

Went into this shop yesterday (20/06) at about 11.30 and was met with the rudest woman serving. I just turned and walked out. Shame as food looked ok. Will never know now!More
